Decent temperature and clean.
Staff was not familiar with the exercise bike programmes and consequently I was not able to use a similar program to one I use at home.
The fixed weight machines lacked instructions that could be accessed without a smart phone.
The leg press was squeaky and I was not confident it would not break.
I was unable to use the smaller weights as one lady had them all lined up.
With instructions on the machines my experience would have been more positive.
Also having more than one of the lighter weights would be good, I noticed there were several of the heavier.

The response mentions induction several times. Please re read my comment carefully.
I am pleased you take feedback seriously and now that you have re read my original comment you will see that an induction would have been pointless. My main issue was staff not knowing how kit worked.

Your response pushes blame to me for not having an induction. That is not positive customer service.

We always advise that new members have an induction to ensure they are familiar with the lay out of the gym and understand how to use the different pieces of equipment. Inductions are usually placed on the class time table. You can also get in touch with the Gym Manager via email, and an induction can be arranged for a specific date and time. Alternatively, members are able to speak to the staff in the gym (if they are not on the gym floor, please feel free to knock on the staff room door) and have an induction. We hope this helps!
