Palarva getting in & out. Where is CCTV? Not worth the membership fee

Entering the gym without 1st installing the app and having a QR code to hand was a palarva. The gym wouldn’t let me punch in the code into the keypad. So this took 10mins trying to resolve.
You also need a QR code to exit the gym which worries me, as my phone doesn’t hold charge. What if I am without phone power? How am I getting in or out of the gym?

Inside the gym itself, I was surprised to find only 1 x rowing machine. Treadmills facing a brick war doesn’t make for a motivation run. Would definitely recommend you turning your treadmills so they are facing the gym when working out. Would make it more sociable.
There wasn’t foam available anywhere in the gym for the long weight bars. Which made it incredibly uncomfortable for the bar to sit across my shoulders when doing squats.
I didn’t notice any CCTV. If there is any, I would prefer for there to be a visible security system- as a deterrent for any potential harassment or issues inside the gym. Not being able to see CCTV and with there being no staff on, made me feel vulnerable.
For this reason I wouldn’t feel safe visiting the gym outside of daytime hours; which renders the 24/7 opening time useless for me.

The lack of equipment inside the gym does not justify the monthly membership price. For this reason and all the others mentioned above, I will not be signing up.
