What has happened to this place recently!!
Understand the PureGym is a budget friendly gym but come on, what is happening recently with this place…
1. PureGym no longer play licensed music, how can the biggest gym company in the UK not be willing to pay a music licence. Baffling.
2. The air conditioning seems to be no existent, the weather outside isn’t even warm yet but feels like a sauna in this place recently. Can PureGym no longer afford to turn the air con on here?
3. General cleanliness - never been great here to be honest. Male toilets are always disgusting and it’s your lucky day if they have hand soap.
4. Water fountains are either broken of absolutely filthy too.
Been going to PureGym for 4-5 years now. Genuinely thinking of trying out somewhere new as I can’t see this place getting better anytime soon. Disappointing

We provide all of our teams with bespoke music platforms created just for fitness classes which provide a wide range of motivating music specific to each class type PureGym offers.
We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored.
All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes.
