Terrible First Impression
My wife tried to open an account with Saffron Building Society and she wasted over 30 minutes battling through a clunky, outdated, and frustrating process. The site is just not user-friendly at all.
If something as basic as opening an account becomes a long, drawn-out experience, and after completing the form the system tells you it’s not possible to process and asks you to call them, it really makes you wonder what the rest of their service is like.
This experience gave us zero confidence in this building society, so we’ve decided to look elsewhere. Definitely not worth the hassle.
