Review of PureGym UK - London Swiss Cottage

2 weeks of no heating inside Pure Gum

For 2 weeks the heating in Swiss Cottage Pure Gym has been off. It's approximately 3 degrees outside and totally unacceptable to expect paying members to put up with arctic conditions inside the gym. It's so cold that people are even working out with winter jackets on. I'm fed up of complaining to management and am actually thinking of cancelling my membership as the conditions are disgraceful for a paying service. I'd like to say that this is the first time this has happened but it's not. There have also been occasions in the summer where the temperature inside the gym wasn't regulated properly making working out almost impossible as it was unbearably hot. Surely this is a massive health and safety issue?
I see many customers complaining to management and still nothing changes. Its very poor service that resource and money is not being prioritise to address these issues.

Hi Deborah- Thanks for taking the time to leave this review, we always appreciate and take on board member feedback. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience to your workouts this has caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club. Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.
