Change of formula without notice a disaster.

Reordering my much loved and highly effective Sensodyne white paste toothpaste with the dark blue rectangle labelled 'deep repair' I receive an identical looking tube WITHOUT the deep repair label.
It is a horrid blue gloopy substance which does nothing. I tried Boots, after Amazon, and got the same blue gloop. I had to bully Amazon to get a refund.

Helen went completely the last mile to solve the problem of a family member being suddenly discharged from hospital with a life threatening condition. She was totally concerned with the problem experienced by our relative, and expert at solving it.

Charged £235 for a simple sink repair

Charged £235 for a simple sink repair. Charged for 5 hours for plumber swanning around looking for right spare part. Told it was my fault.
Asked for an estimate for replacing a single loose tile and told 1/3 of roof needed replacing at £1650.40. Found a local tiler who came twice, replaced with a new tile, cured the leak and charged £40.
Need I say more? Avoid like the plague

Tepeo, octopus and ZEB the future!

Sept 2023 Old oil boiler gave up in 2020 and its position in our grade 2 listed house meant no balanced flue possible. Also nowhere to install heat pump. Realised Zeb was the answer from their very start but had to wait 2 years for octopus go and Tepeo to cover Norfolk. Doesn’t heat the whole house, but we have 2 woodburners for spot heating, and we live in the kitchen anyway in the winter, so just use ZEB to get the kitchen nice and warm for us at 6 am. It took time to learn how to control ZEB and the new menus have helped a lot. Its off in the summer when we use immersion heaters for hot water (cheap octopus go for those too) NOW octopus is giving us 2-4 pm free electricity 3 days a week for the next year to help unload the grid. Tepeo and Octopus are a great team, very responsive, and definitely the future for the domestic market. Totally brilliant. Builders around us admit taking out heat pumps and reinstalling oil boilers in newish properties. 😩

20 Sept 2024. Asked to write something again! Well, nothing but good. A free upgrade, as our Zeb was an early model, so new electronics and also a plumbing upgrade in the boiler. Now using Zeb in the summer for hot water, as just heating to 20% gives the option for a hot water tank boost in the evening. Often not charging at night as so much free daytime power to unload the grid courtesy of Octopus. All this with total simple control and monitoring on the excellent and intuitive App on your phone. If you have a classic radiator and HW tank and want to loose your gas/oil boiler, this is the future, NOT a heat pump.

Worst delivery and customer response ever

The 'mission bed' was fine when it arrive. However customer service and delivery by XDP was awful. 10 days late, no promised advice about date or time, no response by happybeds to delivery problem. They just don't care. Delivery service and customer care completely ruins what could be a good product.

See the reply from happy beds. Total cop out. If your delivery company doesn't deliver, Do something about it. Change it! Don't just kick the can down the street. ADVICE Don't use happy beds...

Bought a box of 20 night briquettes to try

Problem after 24 hours
Left 2 night bricks in over night. Huge pile of ash with red hot embers buried in it after 12 hours. Meant cleaning out woodburner before able to light a ‘day’ fire. Needed shovel and bucket. Norfolk eco briquettes leave very little residue, empty tray every 3-4 days.

It seems clear that your night briquettes need a hot stove to burn in to avoid leaving a residue. That might not be the case after a night of cooling. Would depend on the stove and its setting.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Our Night Briquettes are very dry, therefore burn hot and shouldn't leave a pile of ash.
We usually recommend using 2-3 Night Briquettes. Preheat your stove beforehand and place them on hot embers for best result. Once they are lit, they will burn with a small/ medium flame for the first 2 hours, after that they will provide you with an even heat output for the remaining. Reduce your airflow and do not move them around.

However, I would like to apologise again for the inconvenience.

Lobby 720 delivered with many faults

Our church has just paid £10,000 for a caravan to provide storm shelter for wardens in a summer church camping activity that provides income to support the Parish. The van which was delivered from Wales to Norfolk has an electrical off grid system as promised which doesnt work, a broken leaking window and a gas compartment locker which wont lock. The ancient spring double mattress folded like paper and I have been offered £100 toward the cost of a £400 memory foam upgrade. The company doesnt use email and prefers to commuicate by phone or whatsapp and has referred me to his suppliers of defective equipment. If circumstances change I am happy to review this entry. In every other respect this 13 year old caravan is in excellent condition, but cant be used without an off grid 12 volt supply.

I submitted a further factual online report on the findings of a professional solar panel fitter. I received an unpleasant evening phone call from John Evans, saying he was ‘loosing his bottle with me’. I would give Evans Camping 0 stars for customer service. There is no excuse for rudeness. Look at the other 1 star reviews -I am not alone. Go elsewhere.

Regarding this customer. We did try to help the customer with the solar power issue and offered him to get in touch with the supplier and manufucaturer as he wanted us to sort it and they would be able to offer more advice on dealing with it. As the customer is based many miles away in Norfolk we told him to get someone to look at it and we would pay for it. An engineer that he arranged for said it was a loose connection.

The mattres was fine in the caravan however the client later decided it was not fit for purpose. We then offered a new mattress but he rejected it as it was spirng and not memory foam. We said we dont do memory foam and we never have complaints. We said we would give money for his mattress which is £100 plus VAT and he was happy with this, but sadly changed his mind again after recieving the £100 plus.

The window is currently on order and is not cracked as decribed but simply has a chip in the corner. When the window comes in we will let the customer know.

We are working with the customer and the supplier to ensure that all these points are dealt with as we value our customers.

We care about all our customers and give them a direct line of comunication if and when required.

Delivery now excellent, use them all the time!

Not being exactly opposite the postcode is a disaster. Goods left anywhere, some thrown over neighbours garden walls. Better since Yodel given the boot ( at least in our area). Amazon prime really worth it if you watch telly and want great free films ad well as free next day delivery. Don't care for their tax avoidance.

Hedge cutter and branch trimmer is greAt

I was trying to find a replacement battery for the old gtech headcutter, but there simply isn't one. I got sent something else which didn't fit the charger. SO I took the plunge and said well old machine was heavy and about 6 years old and bought the new one. It's GREAT. much lighter. Cuts big twigs. 18 volts is the the answer, 12 volts doesn't cut the mustard - or the hedge. I haven't tried the circular saw attachment yet - can't wait.
Now please could you remove me from your mailing list!!
