Not upholding prescribed treatment

Whilst the dentists themselves are great, they offer a service they cannot commit to or manage properly.
This dental practice offers a Saturday service for children, which originally worked really well and meant children didn’t have to take time off school for continuous treatments.
They now cannot manage the staff sufficiently to keep Saturday appointments going and I have had several appointments cancelled and the only alternatives available are taking my child out of school.
My son has a flouride deficiency and is supposed to be treated every 3 months and this has not been happening, therefore having a detrimental effect on his teeth.
There is zero accountability from the dental practice for not upholding the 3 monthly treatment that they advised was needed.
When I complained about the fact my son was not getting the treatment that they prescribed excuses were made and then they went straight for the “if your not happy with us, here is a link for you to find another dentist” and “we have given you ample notice” not even acknowledging that they are failing to keep up with their own prescribed timescales for patients requiring regular treatment.
No plans to fix the flawed Saturday system by perhaps not allowing so many of their staff to constantly take holidays, which happens a lot.
They know just how difficult it is to find an NHS dentist and that is why they can treat you however they want.

To provide clarity for others reading, when an appointment has to be cancelled because a dentist is unexpectedly away, we always give as much notice as possible and arrange the earliest suitable alternative. In this instance, although a future Saturday appointment could not go ahead, we brought your childs appointment forward and ensured the treatment was completed earlier than planned. There was no delay to the recommended interval of care.

As you mentioned, NHS dental appointments are extremely difficult to secure nationally at the moment. This same nationwide shortage of NHS dentists means that weekend NHS clinics are particularly challenging for all practices to staff consistently.

Our clinical team, like all workers in the UK, are entitled to annual leave under employment law, and we always plan our schedules around this. However, planned leave combined with occasional unforeseen absences can mean that very rarely a session has to be rearranged. We understand how frustrating this can be and work hard to keep any disruption to a minimum.

We also encourage patients to attend the appointments they book. Missed or unattended appointments can also disrupt treatment pathways, so it is important that both the practice and families work together to help keep preventive care on track for children.

Our aim is always to minimise disruption, communicate promptly, and provide safe and reliable care. We remain committed to supporting your child's preventive dental needs.

DO NOT GET THE KLARNA CARD!!!
Hadn't used my Klarna card since 2022 and then a random payment from Game appeared on my card in Dec 2024. I am positive I didn't purchase anything from Game but Klarna will not help. Klarna cancelled the card due to fraudulent activity but won't accept the fraudulent transaction. This has been ongoing for 4 months now. Obviously Game cannot help because I didn't purchase anything from them.


Edit: Klarna please do not put up silly replies about contacting you, I have contacted you every 20 days since January and you still don't want to sort the issue out!!

Gaping hole in wetroom floor

Gaping hole in wetroom floor, Water pouring through lights and fittings and ceiling for a week now and the repair was closed off with no further action!! Repairs manager Christine needs to be sacked before there is a serious accident and a lawsuit against clarion!!

John on Live Chat is the best.

This review is based on John in customer services only. If it hadn’t been for him it would have been 1 star.
Had 2 repairs booked, both on the same day, both between 11:00-14:00
Operative turned up for 1 job at 09:10 and no one was home obviously.
Got straight on to live chat and John sorted it all out within minutes.
Not all Clarion are bad.

Terrible to charge returns fees!!

If I had know before hand that I would be charged £1 for each returned item (after 6 free) I wouldn't have placed the order.
For it to cost me £14 to return 20 items it has definitely put me off ordering from Yours again, especially when everywhere else offers free returns.

Great BUT it takes ages to get to you!!

I originally wrote to avoid this company as the box didn’t arrive. But after nearly 4 weeks the box arrived and the contents were great!!

There were loads of snacks and my kids were delighted to try food from a different country, Greece was our first box.

I’d give 5 stars if you didn’t have to wait so long to receive your order or at least have updates from the company.

Be very waring of ordering from this company!!

Be very waring of ordering from this company, they messed us around with stock availability and then with pricing.

Ordered a £3k compressor from Machine Direct only to be told that there was an error with their website showing the item in stock when in fact it isn't and will take around 6 weeks to arrive in the UK.

I was offered alternatives and spent time going through them and called Mitch to discuss the fact we had seen a slightly cheaper model and could we have that one and arrange for a refund. This was followed up with an email.

A few hours later "Management" have informed Mitch that there is yet another error with their website and the advertised price was incorrect and would we be happy paying the inflated price.

Needless to say we did not accept this and have asked for a full refund.

Just be wary that their website does not appear to be accurate.

I would to recommend them to anyone, shop around for a more reliable company.

I’ve never had a problem with Jet2 ever BUT if you are going to employ the discriminatory staff you have at Tenerife South Airport then you should be ashamed of yourselves!!
Took our money to book seats and then changed them and told me to deal with it at home!! Rude supervisor (David) speaking in Spanish didn’t want to take any ownership of the problem and continued to fob me off and sort it out at home!! They kept speaking in Spanish which was rude enough but you know they are speaking about you!!
Asked for an English Jet2 representative but instead a angry manager came out and apparently his staff had told him I was abusive 😂😂 if asking for your names to make a complaint is abusive I dread to think how these wet lettuces actually deal with aggressive passengers!! When I asked for the managers name (Ricardo)he became enraged and kicked me off the flight telling me I was rude to ask for an English representative and for asking for their names is threatening behaviour!! Separating me from my 2 children!! It wasn’t til he was told that my daughter wasn’t my partners child that his face changed and he all of a sudden wanted to speak in private 🤔
He tried reprimanding me like a child telling me he is 41 years old?? He clearly thought I was younger, WRONG I informed him that I am in fact 42 and again he backed down. I actually had to apologise to him to be allowed on the plane 🤬
His parting words were “I have to teach you a lesson, I hope you have learnt one”
YES I HAVE LEARNT A LESSON!! NEVER EVER WILL I RETURN TO TENERIFE ESPECIALLY NOT WITH JET2!!
Customer services and jet2 CEO I’m coming for you when I land!!
You should be ashamed of yourselves for employing discriminatory disgusting bullies who know they can treat you so badly and get away with it by not allowing you home and upsetting your children!!
Never been so happy to leave a holiday!!

Terrible refund issues due to COVID!!

Due to COVID I was unable to use my voucher and Groupon have advised that the Advanced Wellness Centre would not be extending the vouchers.

They offered to refund a credit to my account, but seeing as I pay with money and got a terrible service I don't want to use Groupon again as I have no faith in them. 30 days I have to wait to see if the refund team will give me my money back.

However they are still selling the treatments on Groupon but for more money now, seems like either groupon or the merchant are trying to make money out of the current pandemic!!

GOOD Idea, but 1 of the books was unhygienic and disgusting.

3 out of the 4 items I ordered were great. One of the books was in a disgusting state. I appreciate they are second hand but this one looked like it was covered in a thick layer of ear wax that had to be scrapped off with a razor blade and disinfected before my daughter could read it. Second hand books are great but serious hygiene risks.

If I could give less than one star I…

If I could give less than one star I would.
Paid for next day delivery on a 24" cutting mat and item did not arrive next day. When it did arrive some bright spark had folded it completely in half!! (Its plastic so now has a permanent crease so won't cut in my silhouette machine) So late arrival and damaged product. No response from customer services so opened a PayPal dispute and some disgraceful imbecile claiming to be a Team Leader just simply said return it. I order something to be DELIVERED to me and pay extra to now have to go out of my way to go to a post office to rectify their stupidity AND I still have no cutting mat from them and am out of pocket £26.50 until they decide to refund. No wonder you can't review on their own website.
