Review of Worx UK

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I bought a strimmer with 2 batteries…

I bought a strimmer with 2 batteries and a Cubevac on its on.

The strimmer would not turn on. It just made a beeping noise.

I contacted Worx support (Ed Brunsden). First he didn't understand what country I was in and tried to fob me off, saying to contact a random man in Co Cork.

Then when I gave him the invoice (with all the info he already had), he told me to contact Amazon for a refund.

Then on my third attempt to get some basic help, I repeated the original query again and asked Ed to either address the query or raise a complaint and pass me on to someone willing to help.

I got a one line response saying it's probably broke and to contact Amazon.

Didn't even attempt to try and solve the problem.

Couldn't even be bothered to check what country I was in.

Possibly the worst customer service I've ever seen - as a result I'll never buy a Word product again.

Briefly considered keeping the hoover, but as I'd be returning the two batteries and the charger as well.

Neither Worx nor Amazon would ship a battery or charger to my address - this is despite the fact they already had shipped 2 batteries and a charger.

A total mess from start to finish. Never again.

Review of Translink

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The Worst Company in the World

I cannot imagine a worse company than Translink.

Over the years I've seen all kinds of incompetence, laziness and rudeness from Translink staff. They simply do not care about their customers.

Here is just a short sample of my experiences:

Scheduled buses showing up between 10 minutes early or 20 minutes late - and you have to be standing at the stop for the one minute out of those 30 minutes because the bus does not wait a second for anyone

Drivers closing the door and driving off just as you reach it

Once a scheduled bus just did not arrive at all. I spoke to someone in the station about it, who said 'I don't deal with buses' and then advised me to go and wait some more. I ended up paying for a taxi from the station.

Staff openly abusing and insulting members of the public.

Reckless and dangerous driving.

Bizarre payment rules which change suddenly (can't use contactless cards, randomly putting prices up and demanding exact change for it)

Complicated and terrible refunds and complaints policy

A lack of services to rural areas, or even just to Derry on the train, which does not go often at all.

Money being eternally wasted in Belfast (Glider, building new 'transport hub') instead of investing in badly needed updates, or improving rural services.

This is the worst company I have ever encountered.

Review of Three UK

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Absolutely terrible customer service

Any time I contact Three with an issue it becomes a long drawn out affair.

At the moment I've been waiting for a replacement Sim to be activated for more than a week. I have had 6 conversations with them about this and each time they lie and say it will be set up in 24 hours.

They also lie that they will contact you and then don't bother.

It is an abysmal network for customer service and Three usually spout meaningless messages to you about how they care and value your service etc when they have proved repeatedly that that is just not true.

I know Three will respond to this review with some nonsense like that. I'm looking at other networks and will be leaving soon
