Jessie was professional
We arrived an hour early for our booked table. Apologised, but was met with a very warm welcome by our server Jessie. On explaining I had an anchovy allergy, they promptly gave me their food intolerance information book. Unfortunately I was unable to have the pasta carbonara, or chips, as these were both items where their ingredients were produced in the same factory where fish had also been processed. It was very disappointing not to be able to have these items, and Jessie apologised profusely several time, then checked thoroughly the items I did order. Couldn't have been more attentive and checked we were enjoying our food once received everything. My husband had the king prawn al forno starter, followed by the luganica sausage and 'nduja frilly tagliatelle, which he said were both delicious. We were informed of the Ask Perks App, which we downloaded to receive discounts, and Jessie even took money off our bill and apologised for the inconvenience regarding the menu. Honestly, I'd rather know about 'issues' than eating something which I'm allergic to, so a big thank you to Jessie for taking the time and having patience whilst I tried to decide what to eat! Jessie explained everything in detail, was professional, friendly and very personable. Thank you once again. We look forward to returning to the Faversham Ask Italian.
