Great beers

Great beers. My favourite is the IPA, Fabulous customer service.
Only downside is that the packaging isn’t up to withstanding modern sorting and transportation sadly.
So the one star off is purely for the brown box packaging that needs some sticky tape to seal it.

So I shall continue to buy, but most probably from my local supermarket rather than the brewers website.

Complete lack of communication

No one answers email enquiries. 500g bags have been oos for weeks. Ask about it and zero reply. Then up pops Black Friday and suddenly they’re available. Web site is awful, there’s no email to tell you alternative subscriptions are available. Beans great. Everything else needs to give its head a wobble.

Online purchasing experience

This is a review of a purchasing experience as I bought a future plan personal to me.
I did everything online and my wish not to be contacted by telephone was honoured.
I found the website to be well thought out and the repetitive strapline at the bottom of each page, although a tad tedious, a good idea for people perhaps more advanced in years.
The progress through the ordering process was logical, the price was competitive, I wasn’t pestered and there was help at the end of a phone if required.
The documents were mailed out to myself and a nominated point of contact.
I chose this because I don’t want a fuss, I don’t want people worrying over whether they’re doing things the way I wanted.
I’ll be gone, they’ll be still here but it’s all sorted which will leave them to remember me how they choose.

Happy Sailing…

Departures from Tyne Dock near Newcastle mean we don’t have to travel miles to start a holiday.
No turning up at an airport 3hrs before, standing in line, taking half your clothes off and being treat like you’re a criminal to leave the country & return.
Yes it’s a smaller ship, yes it’s a little old fashioned but it’s well maintained & immaculate. Ours was Balmoral.
The crew absolutely cannot do enough for you. And it’s genuine. There’s food & drink from getting up to going to bed, there’s entertainment (you can’t please all the people all the time), shore tours are well organised (yes they’re dearer than doing them yourselves but I’m on holiday and don’t want to worry about missing a departure).
No idea how their holiday prices compare; I look at a price and if I think it’s worth it I pay it.
Negative on this trip was an awful smell of diesel near the forward lifts on deck 5.
Shopping is also a tad limited on board.
And Fred could do with being a bit blunt with the people who insist on power walking the deck; you’re asked not to do it so don’t be so belligerent and rude please.
There’s also the ever present share of miseries on fb forums who love an exclamation mark and capitals.
In my experience they’re only happy when they’ve just missed the bus so ignore them, book up and see for yourself.
It’s not perfect, nothing is, but it’s the nearest to tranquil I’ve been in a long time. Enjoy

Lovely clothes

Lovely clothes. Web site was a bit glitchy and slow to load but that could be me not them. There was no plastic included in the very well thought out packaging which was nice to see. I bought two to size (never shopped with them before) and the refund for the return was processed promptly. Would definitely use again

Can’t fault the offers

Can’t fault the offers. Even during the current health crisis there’s been things on offer and offers that can be booked for the future giving everyone something to look forward to
