New to Ueshima…
I loved the coffee but it isn't well stocked local, I found it was most effective to buy direct, £20 purchase is good for free postage. Buying and delivering was all good.
Nice coffee
I decided to try this coffee while I was shopping, I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was, makes a strong coffee with a slightly bitter aftertaste I will definitely be buying another bag from the supermarket when I run out.
Set up a subscription last Monday…
Set up a subscription last Monday 16/2/26 received confirmation and on the 17/2/26 an email saying my coffee had been shipped. It is now Late Tuesday the 24/2/26 and still no coffee. If this is the service you provide I will have to reconsider my subscription. Sent an email on Saturday 21/2/26 chasing my order still no reply.
Great coffee, but website and customer service was a disappointment
The coffee is great and I was a subscriber to one of their products. The problems started when the product I was ordering ran out and doesn't appear to have been restocked as of now. According to their website and the email advising me the items were out of stock, I could suspend my order or ask for a substitute. Unfortunately I wasn't keen on the substitute so wanted to suspend my order until the items I wanted were back in stock: this was back in November. However there wasn't actually any way I could see on their website in my account to suspend the ordering process, only cancel my subscription. So I reluctantly did this. And for some reason the subscription process removed my entire account, which I didn't find out about until a few weeks later when I went to check whether the items were back in stock (they weren't). So I'm not sure if this is the intended behaviour of the website but it did concern me. So I emailed their customer service in January. I have yet to receive a reply: not even an automated acknowledgement. I'm pretty disappointed so far and have been looking elsewhere for similar coffee. I regret having to do this because up to this point they were really good, the items always arrived well packaged and on time. But their poor website design and non existent customer service has let them down.

Price increases a shame
I would normally rate this highly but the increased cost from ordering 500g bags was about £7.50 per bag ie £30 per month but now they can’t supply 500g bags but 200g bags so the equivalent price now is £40 per month so that’s an increase of 25% which is unacceptable coffee inflation and such a shame because the quality of the coffee is stunning.
I did try to follow the instructions about cancelling the 500g bags 💼 and have free coffee and just pay for the shipping plus a free 🔖 clip by could not get it to work such a shame as I now have 10bags that cost 25% more as it had already been sent out although I was told by the company that I could refuse delivery which I would not do so I had sent another email saying maybe you could just give me a small discount to save it being returned because of the cost etc but didn’t even get a response.
A really good communication is vital retain customers shame as the coffee is stunning.
Another point is that Morrisons and Sainsbury’s is the cheapest price for the same amount about £3.75
