**Disappointing Experience with THL – Apollo Euro Deluxe 6 Berth**
Our rental experience with THL’s **Apollo Euro Deluxe 6 Berth** motorhome was far from satisfactory due to multiple issues with the vehicle and poor customer service.
**Vehicle Condition:**
- The motorhome was in poor shape—rattling excessively, with doors opening spontaneously while driving.
- The water heater and interior heater were both non-functional.
- Stained and filthy cushions throughout, with no cushions provided for the middle bed.
- A broken chair and a rear bed that had been poorly repaired (using a wooden log as a replacement).
- All drawers opened while driving, making the journey unsafe and inconvenient.
**Lack of Proper Orientation & Service:**
- The pickup process was rushed—just a quick key handover and a signature request. No proper walkthrough or orientation.
- The staff member assisting us was new (on her second week of a working holiday), leaving us without adequate guidance.
- The provided instructional video was for a different model, making it useless for our rental.
- No explanation of basic functions (e.g., what runs on battery vs. gas), leading to confusion.
- The CO alarm started beeping unexpectedly, causing panic—we later realized it was due to luggage placement, but this could have been avoided with proper instructions.
**Other Issues:**
- The petrol tank was not full as promised—the gauge dropped significantly within the first 10 km.
- Road user charges were not accepted in cash upon return, contrary to expectations.
**Overall:**
The **Apollo Euro Deluxe 6 Berth** was poorly maintained, unclean, and unsafe in several aspects. Combined with the lack of proper customer service, I would **not** recommend THL and will not be renting from them again.

Several unhelpful customer service who chat to probably a handful of customers at the same setting after wasting more than half an hour and only exchanging few words and being on hold talking to myself,
Filing a search by the courier after an hour of chatting
Then to request a claim from p2g , after 2 weeks of discussions, they requested Several documents to be able to get any claim for even half of the cost of the parcel.
Another ....up, they transferred me to the wrong department and I should have been transferred to claims.
Several documents have to be submitted.

Totally UNrecommended. Chaotic and the service booking slots are extremely time wasting. Dropped my car at 11am and till 4pm , yes 5 hours, no work of any sort was done.
Definitely they know roughly what time car would be serviced but no, at 230pm I was told that my car is next but it was nearly 2 hours later when it was taken to the workshop.
Should have trusted the low review scores ,can only blame myself.

What a distressing experience I had today. Im surprised by the degree of unprofessionalism, rudeness and probably racism.
David Wilson Sawbridgeworth, saw thier ad on rightmove and thought that could be a potential family home.
Initially made an appointment for 22nd which I couldn't attend and reschedule it. Spoke to a nice lady that day who gave me some information and promised that her colleague Elaine will give all the information about the development.
Thought to myself thats great, I will buy that plot considering its completed in January.
On 23rd Dec, I took my wife and children to see our possible family home as their wanted a house with a garden which is a rarity in central London.
It took me more than an hour drive to reach the development. It was raining and children were not settled. The moment we went into the sales office we were met by an helpful sales woman who asked us in a grumpy atitude "do you have masks"? Luckily we did. Then without asking us to sit , she questioned us; what are you looking for??! Didnt you speak to my colleague yesterday and she gave you all the information!! I replied " the only information I had was about the completion date!" Alright then , what do you want? I didnt feel at ease with my children around and wife not being offered a chair or a welcome.
Did you speak to our financial adviser and started questioning me which luckily I had all the documents with me. She didnt give me any information or brochures. The only piece of information she stated that there is an estate service charge for roughly 300s , affordable housing represents 40% and their 4 bedroom houses are sold for more than 660k. If I want to see the property, I have to make another appointment. The price, specifications and process was never provided. Basically, she didnt bother and our visit was a disturbance for her quiet office. Every attempt to explore or get any information was obstructed. Its amazing how reputable company employees such people as normally sales rep or at least they should be friendly and bombard you with lots of information to tailor your needs and their offerings. This was an annoying , time wasting and distressing experience.
Even the show home she didnt bother to guide us or to show us.
After this experience, my wife feels that going outside London is probably a good idea being faced with such unwelcoming racist behaviour and probably she is right.
So definitely will not recommend if thats the atitude prior to sale, cant imagine what would it be afterwards.

Harrow council contracted them to market 2 bedroom houses. Despite my daily emails and phone calls requesting the details , I was told that phase 3 will be launched soon and I will be contacted, name was put on the list.
To my surprise , I emailed them today to find out that phase 3 was launched and sold out. No communications whatsoever and this probably was a matter of preferential workings by the company or probably a disrespectful sales consultant.
I will put a complaint with Harrow Council.thanks
