Review of Zego
Poor, AI based customer service agent, don’t waste your time.
I purchased a new insurance policy CEIC-PS63D5PD because it was cheaper. However, my previous insurer automatically renewed and I desire to cancelled new Zego policy within 14 days after purchase as have more sense. I tried multiply times to cancel the policy with Zego, but I couldn’t do it. Their AI agent kept leaving my request unresolved despite.
As a result, I ended up with two insurance policies at the same time and Previous insurer canceled my and charged me a cancelation fee. Zego eventually cancelled my policy after two months, which left me without insurance. At the last minute, I had to purchase another policy and that was much more expensive then my first renewed with prevues insurer.
On top of it app is draining battery and I is not working properly. Not sure what is happening with data, very concerning.
If you can avoid them, I would recommend doing so. The customer service was very poor, and I’m not happy with the experience at all.
Very stressful, time and money wasting company.
