I’m not usually one for unsolicited reviews, but something needed to be said here.

The electricians were brought in to diagnose some electrical problems with the flat. Without any forewarning, they basically began upturning our apartment unplugging anything/everything in the flat to test outlets. Now, I completely understand that this was a necessary task for them to do their job, but the way they just tore into everything without any forewarning or communication was unsettling to say the least.

This alone wouldn’t have warranted this post, but the cherry on top is that eventually they said “OK we’re done” and took off. Not only did they fail to plug anything back in, but they didn’t communicate that they unplugged anything in the first place! This means that:

--Our pet lizard’s terrarium was completely unplugged/unheated (luckily we caught this one quickly enough so the lizard is fine).
--They pulled out our fridge in such a way that it was impossible to get it back into place. (We’re now waiting on a carpenter to amend the situation)
--They unplugged our freezer, which we didn’t catch until almost a week later! We’re lucky that we only lost about 25 quid worth of frozen goods, but we did have to spend an afternoon thoroughly cleaning it.

I would strongly admonish anyone who’s considering using their services to find another electrician, but if for some reason you have no choice, make sure you take a pass through your premises to ensure that everything is in its right place and has power before they depart.

Solid removal service.

We spoke to Dean, and he was able to get us set up moving from Denmark to the UK, including walking us through the customs/TOR process and working out timings--this was really crucial to our positive experience. Everything went relatively smoothly (the movers were extremely professional), and our stuff was out of our DK flat just before our move-out inspection.

There was a bit of panic regarding when our stuff would make it to the UK, as operations quoted us something like "within 10 days", but it did arrive within 4 days (pickup on Thursday, delivery that Sunday) and was swiftly and professionally unpacked by a driver who was kind enough to take the cardboard boxes once we had unloaded them (given that they were ready to go once he finished unloading, which is a perfectly reasonable request). No damage to our things.

A few things to note that will not be a surprise to anyone else reading these reviews on Trustpilot: they do need to be clearer that the price is based on weight, not on volume. We ended up having to pay a bit more for our goods because of this--nothing extravagant, but at the point where they have your stuff in a van, it's hard to argue pricing (so we didn't). Furthermore, when you are getting a quote, I recommend that you send videos of all rooms indicating the stuff to be moved. This helped us to get a much more accurate quote, even if it was somewhat higher than we were quoted initially. Save yourself the trouble and do this from the start.

All in all, I recommend Legend. They did a nice job.
