Responsiveness and communication with the assigned accountant was poor. I started a simple self assessment at the start of January, I provided all the details and the accountant couldn’t complete it correctly before the deadline expired. I had to continuously chase him, didn’t get back within the 48 hours given. Made multiple errors with the self assessment. Due to such poor response time, I had to submit it without all my expenses so I am now out of pocket.

While January is understandably our busiest period, this does not reflect the level of communication or accuracy we aim to provide. We apologise for the stress this caused, particularly with the filing deadline approaching.
As part of our process, we include an approval stage to ensure you’re able to review your return in full before it is submitted to HMRC. This is also the point at which your accountant can make any amendments, including those relating to expenses.
We’ve reviewed your account and can confirm that your tax return was filed to HMRC following your approval and in advance of the deadline.
