I went to the Vodafone shop in Andover

I went to the Vodafone shop in Andover, Hants, UK.
The person who helped me was named Connor. My contract had ended a couple of month before I went in and I wanted to know what options were available to me, what I would get and how much it would cost. I explained how I used my phone, what was important to me and what wasn't. Connor then showed me two options: one where I kept my current handset and went onto a sim-only contract; and another where I'd get a new handset.
He explained very clearly what I'd get, what the costs would be and how I'd make payment for each option.
I made my decision and he processed everything. At each step he explained what he was doing.
I decided on a new handset, and was concerned about transferring my contacts etc to the new phone - he reassured me that there was an app that could sort all of that out, which made me feel relieved and confident.
I received a text when my phone arrived in store. Collecting it was very simple and the handset was exactly what I expected.
The app to transfer all the info also worked exactly as Connor described.

Pamela Christmas delivered day 1 of the rapid induction care certificate training. She was very friendly and welcoming. She was knowledgeable, easy to follow and went at a good pace. She was happy to answer questions and discuss scenarios, and to go back when I wanted to see info we had gone past.

Review of OVO

Refreshing experience with OVO energy

On hold: told me how long my wait time was. Only on hold for 2mins or so, this was shorter than the wait time i was told. v.good.
Spoke to Rob from the Derby branch. I called up to change to a different plan. I wasn't sure what would be the best option for me since energy prices are all over the place and its unsure whether they'll go up or down.
Rob talked thru all my options, gave me breakdown of costs, was patient when I was writing everything down. He also talked about how much it would cost to get out of a fixed price plan if the cost of energy did dramatically fall. He was able to tell me what my new DD payment would be.
Rob also told me that my account was in credit and that I could get that transferred back to my bank. I honestly had no idea that was even possible - hopelessly uninformed on my part perhaps, but having an energy company being open about money I could get back was frankly miraculous (I'm so used to them always wanting more money!!).
The transparency felt refreshing and that I could really trust OVO to think about what was best for me.
Rob talked to me like I was human being, not like he was bored or just wanted me to get off the phone.
At the end of the call, he asked if I had any more questions at all and then transferred me to another department so I could sort out updating my details. Again, very much appreciated since there are some places where they make you call back yourself.
