Avoid at all costs

I have been dealing with Read Motor Group for almost 6 months now whilst they try and fix a car that is less than 4 years old. The car has been with Matt Taylor at the branch in Derby for 6 months, and he/his team have been completely unable to fix it. The branch also does not proactively try and fix it or provide me with any updates - they only act when chased constantly (literally you have to chase them daily for tiny updates that tell you they still haven't managed to fix it). If you call them, the line just ring out. They've offered no other option than to just wait indefinitely which is completely unacceptable. I'll never deal with this company again and I suggest everyone else stays well clear (especially the Derby Branch)

Appalling service from Derby

I would say that Derby Hyundai give you appalling service, but they actually give you no service at all. They have now been “trying” (by “trying”, I actually mean “doing nothing at all”) to resolve a front camera issue that turned into a warranty fix...for almost 5 months. They proactively do nothing to resolve it or update me on their progress at all. If you call them, nobody answers or the line just rings out. I went down in person for updates and they were completely unaware my car was on site. They sent me to the customer relations team even though it is completely outside of the customer relations team remit to resolve the issue – so they don’t seem to know their own processes. I spoke with another Hyundai dealership today who actually advised me to give them negative online feedback. I have heard nothing from Derby Hyundai since the 5th January, and my Hyundai App shows that they have not so much as switched my car on this year. I recommend nobody ever deals with these people as their levels of incompetence are unbelievable.

Excellent

Pass the keys communicated very well with me prior to my stay. Their communication was regular and timely and it was easy to check in. The airbnb I stayed it was very well presented and spotlessly clean.

Driver was rude and unprofessional

The driver called me whilst attempting delivery. I stated I would be home in 10 minutes and to leave the parcel. He said they're not supposed to leave parcels. (Every single other courier will leave my parcels). He then suggested he'd take it next door and I suggested that the house over the road would be better. He then questioned me, asked "do you not talk to next door or something?" And then he complained to me about the fact he was getting soaked in the rain whilst having this conversation with me. So unprofessional. Why did he think he could query my reasons for wanting a delivery to one address over another? I wish I'd not answered the phone to him and just dealt with wherever my delivery ended up once I got home. I'll certainly go out of my way to not use Yodel again.
