Scam Company!

All of the responses to complaints here on Trustpilot are a smokescreen to make it look like they actually care! They tell you to email them; then never reply to emails, and that you can return the product; TO CHINA at your own expense! They state a 90 day money back guarantee, but only offer a credit note. Company is a complete SCAM.

Hi Caroline,
I’m really sorry you’ve had a disappointing experience — that’s never what we want for anyone.

Just to clarify a few points so everything is fully transparent:

1. We always reply to emails.
If you haven’t heard back, it usually means the message didn’t reach us or landed in spam. Please resend it to Hey@luxskin.co and we’ll prioritise your case immediately.

2. Returns do go back to our main warehouse in China.
This is where all of our products are fulfilled and quality-checked, so all returns are processed there. This is standard for global ecommerce brands that ship worldwide.

3. Our 90-day guarantee is a store credit guarantee.
This is stated on our website, and we provide credit so customers can choose a replacement product that may suit them better. We’re always happy to help you pick the right option.

We genuinely care about our customers, and when something goes wrong we always do everything we can to fix it.
Please reach out again so we can resolve this for you quickly.

AVOID!

AVOID!! Portray themselves as a UK based company but are actually in China. I ordered the microinfusion serum kit before realising. I would never inject products into my face from a country that is unregulated, so emailed to ask for a refund. Have had no reply, but I imagine I would have to return the products to China which would cost more than the actual products so basically they’ve got you over a barrel. £61 worth of stuff going in the bin 😡

Hello Caroline,

We completely understand your concern — but please rest assured that we are an Australian owned and operated company, with our head office based here in Australia (and local branches in UK, US, CA and EU for local customers).

Our manufacturing partners are ISO and GMP certified, the same international standards followed by many of the world’s largest skincare and cosmetic brands.

Regarding China — it’s worth noting that the precision parts used in all micro-infusion devices (like the microneedle heads) are only developed and produced in China, regardless of which global brand sells them. This is simply where that specific medical-grade technology is made, and it’s used industry-wide.

We take product safety and quality extremely seriously, with all our formulations independently tested and batch-verified to ensure the highest standards before they reach our customers.

Warm regards,
The LUX SKIN® Team

AVOID this scam company

AVOID this scam company! Not based in UK as portrayed, but China. Bought the microinfusion serum kit before realising. I would never inject products into my skin from an unregulated country, so emailed to ask for a refund but no reply. Going to try and reclaim money from Klarna but don’t hold out much hope.

Atrocious customer care

Shoes arrived damaged so emailed them with pictures and heard nothing back, so phoned them a couple of days later. Could barely understand the person on the phone (Spanish, I think), but eventually they asked me to send more pictures and said they would email me a discount code so I could buy another pair as I’d bought them in the sale. I emailed more pictures and again had no reply, so phoned them AGAIN, and spoke to someone who was even more difficult to understand. Anyway, they said they’d email me to tell me how to return the shoes, which they did, but didn’t send a discount code for me to purchase another pair, so I emailed asking for the code but haven’t had a reply again. So I’m gonna have to call them for a third time to try and get a discount code sent to me. Absolutely terrible customer service from such a lucrative company.
