System locked up on me twice
System locked up on me twice. I submitted my payment information but it said it didn't take. I had to submit payment information again which it took, however the previous payment is pending in my account, so I better not get charged twice!

Painfully incompetent
Absolutely miserable user experience. It kept randomly logging me out, not saving the information I had entered, and I could not discern any way to save the info without hitting a button that forced me to click through several screens just to get back to what I was doing. This company needs to fire every one of their UX designers and PMs with cause.

**Title: TWO HOURS OF TAX PREPARATION LOST AFTER THE WEBSITE CONFIRMED IT WAS SAVED!**
I spent over two hours carefully calculating my business expenses and entering my tax information into 1040.com.
I clicked Save, and the system indicated that my progress had been saved. Then the page reloaded, and EVERYTHING I had entered was gone.
Tax preparation is stressful enough without having to worry about whether the software will preserve your work. I had already spent hours gathering financial information, calculating expenses, and answering questions, only to lose all that work because of an apparent technical failure.
This happened right before I needed to hand my information to my accountant.
I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated. If you're considering using 1040.com, please be aware of my experience. I trusted the software to save my work, and that trust was seriously undermined.
