It's one thing to make a mistake, but there has to be a way to get it fixed. I ordered a Chocolate Decadence basket and the recipient got a spa basket instead. There is no way to contact anybody; even the AI chat bot isn't working. I have had problems with this group, 1800flowers, etc, before, but after a few years, I thought I'd give them another chance and joined their Passport program to get free shipping, because the shipping charges make everything cost-prohibitive. This was their last chance.
Won't Be Ordering Again
Ordering was easy. Gift was delivered on time. That's the good.
I ordered a chocolate heart that comes with little hammer to break it open. There are candies, pretzels and other goodies inside. It arrived in a box that was too small for the heart. The chocolate heart was shoved in sideways and arrived already smashed open.
The size of the gift is small for the price paid but I expected that.
This was a Valentine gift for my husband so I am extremely disappointed and won't order from this company again.

We received a gift basket from my brothers family as we always do each Christmas. This year was a very tiny couple of boxes with a pretzel some cookies and nothing else I could remember. I thought my poor brother has fallen on hard times. Then they called me to see if I had gotten what they had sent because other relatives had received odd items. Usually I thank them and let them know it came and how much we enjoyed it. The straw packing was more useful than the stale cookie.
I am not sure how this is getting resolved. I only want them to get a refund for I know they work hard for their money.

Only 2 boxes had anything in them. The others held packing straw. The 2 boxes that had items, one was stale moose munch type product with MAYBE a 1/5 of the bag full and one box had inedible hard candy. Can not believe a company would deliver a product so blatantly a scam for money.

I ordered a birthday basket for my fiancé’s doggy and they sent some crappy basket with NO birthday stuff in it. I called and they offered me 1/2 of the total price refunded plus a $15 gift card for a future purchase. I told them they still had two days so they could overnight the right one. They said they could deliver it 3 days later than the birthday. I demanded a full refund. It feels like they send this crappy stuff on purpose, get their money for that stuff by giving you HALF your money back, and then try to suck you back in with the $15 gift card on a future purchase. Don’t trust this company!!!!
Terrible Web Interface and Way too Much Hassle
I routinely send baskets and gifts for employees at our company. The platform offers numerous options from all the sister companies (1800Flowers, 1800Baskets, Harry and David, etc.) When they send you a confirmation email, it lists, in bold, the number to call for questions. When you get there it's not for the sister company you ordered from.
Then, the orders are late. When I called to check, they offered to refund the shipping on the order. The next confirmation I received was telling me the order had been cancelled. (It's already over a week late at this point.) When I called again, they said on their end it's on schedule. Then why does my end say cancelled in red? And why are there TWO DIFFERENT confirmation numbers? Terrible interface on the web. The CS reps were all very nice and helpful, but overall, I wasted way too much time for something that should be seamless. And if "Jim" the CEO of 1800Baskets, who thinks he's a positivity guru, sends me another inspirational newsletter after all this, I'll scream.
Better, easier, cheaper, and much less aggravation to buy from a vendor on Etsy because the delivery time is comparable.

Terrible after the order customer service. I email and tried the chat and live agent options several times but never received a response. Today I finally found a phone number to call and the agent literally repeated everything I said verbatim. I was sent a partial refund. However, the products and the customer service are not worth the time.

Received a spa basket from a elderly aunt , a repeat of the same basket from the year before. Caused a terrible
rash from the year before. Never opened the box, they will not accept returns. I would advise anyone looking for a gift NOT to purchase from this company. Product is very cheap looking but not cheap prices for their boxes. They suggested I give to someone else. I would be very embarrassed to gift this sub quality package to even a stranger. So I JUST get out of the hosptial from having surgery…..a couple days later one of my family members gets in a horrible accident where someone hit him on the freeway and totals his brand new truck. Of course he’s really injured. As a Family we decide to send him a really nice large basket.
(Sidenote: Ive made these kind of purchases for the past 15yrs on behalf of our family owned business), so they all left it up to me to get this done.
I make the purchase, select the date for delivery AND THEY CHANGED IT FOR A WEEK LATER and DID NOT notify me. He STILL hasn't received it!!!!! I used the “chat live” person at night when I discovered he hadn’t received it. That was like pi$$in in the wind. I spent several HOURS trying to rectify this (until about 2:30AM!) This “customer service” guy was SO Bad I thought he was automated, until he convinced me he was real. Then, vv be Just to close out the chat he promised me a NEXT DAY delivery that NVR came! Like I said HE STILL hasn’t Recvd it! Unfortunately this has caused disagreements in my family now. With all the complaints I see on here, I will file a complaint with the BBB. Not like ANYONE will really CARE (like the owner) but at least it will make them HAVE to respond on WHY something like this happened. This place is an absolute JOKE and they might as well NOT even HAVE a customer see I’m pretty sure 3rd graders could do a better job at getting this stuff out. I told them it was like sending a funeral OR wedding arrangement out a WEEK LATER and not telling anyone! Who DOES THAT!

They changed the delivery date but didn`t notify me.
The delivery date that I specified was changed and I wasn`t notified.
The delivery date they selected and that showed on my order was a week after the special event the basket was intended for and the customer service person stated that the changed date was the date I selected. When I pulled up the online copy of my order from my account, it showed my selected delivery date, not their changed delivery date.
I will not be ordering from them again but based on their low approval rating, I don`t think Management cares enough to fix their internal issues.
I received a basket of fruit for my birthday
I received a basket of fruit for my birthday. Beautifully wrapped. It had 4 pears, 2 red, 2 green. 2 oranges, 2 kiwi and 3 apples -2 red, 1 green. I will say that 2 pears, 2 apples and 1 kiwi were delicious, but sadly over half the fruit was rotten--looked nice on top but black on bottom. I did not want to tell my sister she'd wasted her money-she's on a fixed income and I knew this was a big purchase for her...so I called 800baskets. The automated system was was very easy to deal with and they offered to send a replacement basket at no charge along with a coupon for a discount on future purchases! While I'd have preferred to receive non-bruised fruit, I can not complain about the customer service and hope that the replacement basket will be in better shape.
Mother’s Day Gift Incorrect!
Mother’s Day gift incorrect.
Ordered a Mother’s Day gift for my MIL. She received it and there was a name missing. I distinctly remember seeing the name on the preview. I contacted 1-800-Baskets and was told I would have to order it again. I was told that I needed to contact them again when the correct order was received. I contacted them and was told to call the Personalization Mall. I did, but was told that since they didn’t receive the payment they couldn’t refund it. I would have to contact 1-800-Baskets again. I did and all I get is the runaround!!! Call this number and it is the same number. No remedy I sight. The last of the conversation stated they it would be reviewed so that they can better their customer service.
I will NOT be ordering from them ever again.

I have given one star. Only because i have to. We received a sympathy basket. My daughter’s job sent it. Beautiful packaging but horrible fruit. They were bruised with holes it them. Do not order from them!!! Especially if it is to go to someone you care about.
What was paid for not in basket delivered
I ordered a very expensive wine and food basket for a sympathy gift for a coworker. When I checked in with my friend, she had received the basket, but the two bottles of wine and most of the snacks I paid for were not in the basket. Also, I paid for a specialty card that was not in the basket. I would never have known hadn’t I checked in with her. They did send a new basket after I complained. I wonder how often they are intentionally ripping people off - not sending what was ordered and paid for. 😠

A 1 star is too much. Ordered 2 boxes in a 30 day period and neither one got delivered. Save yourself the hassle, buy the item anywhere else and deliver it yourself. Horrible!!!
Stupid people work here!
The most stupidest people on the planet earth! A woman calls, tells me they can't read the delivery address they keyed printed off. asks me to provide the address to be found. Then asks me if they can change the delivery date, you do not have a choice so why ask? then they ask if Friday the next day they can deliver is okay. Dope! No just hold it till next year or Valentines crap is delivered that's why you bumped my "barivement" gift to the side. What a crock of crap! Florist deliveries yielded more than any other package. What type of company needs your permission to make the delivery on the next time and your left out in the cold! Do not use this company! What a crock of horse poop!
