A great experience, fair prices, service in excellent service, very friendly and polite staff, the correct and clean vehicle. An employee was waiting for us at the departure of the flight, the procedure was very fast and we had the car to 50 meters On the way back they were waiting for us to deliver the car.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY.They take a deposit even though you have paid for full insurance then they keep it.It has taken me almost three months to get my money back,they say there is a problem with their card machine and can only repay you via your bank account.There is nothing wrong with their machine when they take your money.The cars they supply are not in very good condition.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Do not use this company, I did not receive my deposit of 700 euros after taking the car back. It's the same story, they say they have problems with the return system and that I will have to wait. Please avoid!!!

Please do not use this company they do not refund your deposit I am still trying to get mine back from October 2017, the car was also fairly old.

To our regret, we have to note that until now 1 rentacar.com did not refund us the €400 deposit we paid at the end of October for the guarantee of the rentacar.
As there was no damage at the car when we returned the key to their company man, and the fuel tank was filled, they owe us €400.
On December 21, we asked by mail to refund us this € 400 + 12,27% interest (what we have to pay to the credit card company), immediately at our credit card. We got no answer.
Two months later :
thanks to a tip on this website, we went to Beobank because we have a Beobank credit card with which we paid the guarantee.
Beobank made the necessary steps towards 1Rentacar. Now after two months our guarantee is refunded on our credit card.

I too had a deposit of EUR 800 which was promised to be refunded upon return of the car. They didn't refund it so after a month we chased, they said they'd had payment system issues and would refund it immediately. Another 2 weeks later and they are not responding to emails. I have now passed this on to my credit card company to resolve.
In hindsight I should have realised that they can put a block on the card for the sum and not 'take' it as a deposit.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Still waiting for the return of our €700 deposit nearly a month after we got back from holiday. Have chased multiple times and keep getting fed stupid excuses. I've now passed it on to our credit card company to reclaim it for us as I've had enough of them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, OR PAY A CASH DEPOSIT. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD DETAILS. Also the car was really badly damaged and not worthy of being a rental.

Hired a 9 seater in October for July 17 from, as I thought, SolAutos.
Somehow or other my booking was hijacked by 1rentacar.es. They started emailing and phoning me the day before I left UK saying they didn't have a 9 seater but they had an 8 (which was enough for us), also demanding a huge deposit - 'otherwise the car might not be there'. I refused. Meet and greet at airport was woeful, no child seat as ordered, long wait plus agent spent a lot of time leaving us standing (in the heat of Malaga with 2 small children after a long journey and before an hour's drive), whilst he dealt with other unsatisfied customers. Merc Vianno was TEN YEARS OLD and had extensive side damage which wasn't listed on the paperwork. We filmed everything obviously.
Return experience was worse-couldn't find drop off car park so had to park in another one which was adjacent to where we were expected to be. Eventually we found the agent who was rude and unhelpful. Resolved by phoning office where staff seem to be more approachable and on the ball.
Never again.

take care by renting a car at 1rentacar in Malaga or whatever they use as a name
it s difficult to get your deposit back. they apologise over and over, they call it 'visa problems' : read more of the experiences of other people with this same story ! I called 4 times and send several emails always same excuse : sorry i don't know what happened ! 400 euro deposit : a lot of money for normal working people. in my opinion, it s not a honnest business company. visa problems is a nice way to try to get peoples money ! finally i must say i got my money after almost 2 months ! maybe because i told them i would put my lawer on it. it cost me a lot of time,effort expensive phonecalls to spain....

We hired a car for 2 weeks, the car we received was unclean with quite a few scratches on it. Upon collecting the car we were charged a deposit of 300 euros which according to the terms and conditions is returned within 5 days at the end of the rental period. Three weeks later no deposit, after contacting them they promised that it would be returned in the next few days. Two weeks later still no deposit, more promises, 5 days on after contacting them again an excuse was made that they had a problem with the Visa system so they'll make a bank transfer instead. A further 9 days on and still nothing. It is now nearly 6 weeks later, I will be filing a claim with the credit card company. The point is why is this company getting away with stealing the customers money, there must be an authority where these types of complaints can be escalated to...

Rent a car for a week, they charged me extra deposit of 300 € they promis in their rules that they will return the deposite the same day you return the car at the end of the contract, now 3 weeks and some phone calls and emails later, still NO return of money. Only promisses.
Also it is not normal to transfer the (your) money. Tthey have the facility to block it at your creditcard! Car was old but Oké and clean, but with a lot of damages.

I booked on behalf of my 71 yr old parents for pick on Saturday, they took the booking for an automatic car, took their total insurance out which was more expensive than the car hire itself. When emailed the car it was a manual and the smallest they had, proceed to agree to pay more for the only automatic they had available. Upon collecting they were presented with an absolute wreck, and being bullied into another €200 for "INTERIOR DAMAGE" and "Repair of regular flat tire not included" yet the insurance says "Damage to tyres" is included. They will use any excuse to scare visitors into paying excess for cars that are barely roadworthy.
