Good online support after sale
There was some information missing from our order and I used the online chat to see if we could resolve it, and Jhonjon Vestido handled the matter very professionally and courteously and took care of it right away.

Placed an order that, according to their website, would be delivered 3 days later or they would reimburse 25.00. 2 days after placing the order it hasn't even shipped yet. I go on their website's chat function and I'm 3 rd person in line. When it comes to my turn, nothing. Sit there for 15 minutes and no one on the other end. So I call and get an automated message that if I am calling about an existing order to go the their website and use the chat function (lol). I call back and pretend it is not about an existing order and immediately get sales. I ask if the item I ordered is in stock and am told yes, they have plenty in stock. I tell him that I placed and order 2 days ago and it hasn't even shipped yet, he tells me he has to transfer me to customer service where I wait for 15 minutes and give up. Went on my order status page to cancel and I fully expect having to do a charge back. Stay far away.

1stoplighting is legit!!
I am highly satisfied with 1stoplighting. Not only was their price unbeatable, but they followed through on their commitments. I received a promotional gift with my purchase as promised, and then when part of my shipment arrived later than promised, they were quick to respond and honored their delivery guarantee by providing a partial refund for that as promised, too.
Jhonjon was very patient and communcated very professional and knowledable.

I shopped Canada Lighting because I genuinely thought it was a Canadian brand based in Canada but it is actually a subsidiary of a US e-commerce company operating out of Sacramento. So obviously when I placed an order, I got charged in US dollars. I spoke to someone there who admitted many people mistake the company for Canadian - very sneaky and somehow should be wrong - and gave me a credit for my trouble which was kind. In the end I am happy with the product and the price was still reasonable.

I have had the same experience of many other posters - purchasing the product was fine, return process a nightmare. Spoke to a rep who wanted to transfer me to returns. After I said it was closed, he said someone was there and transferred the call. No one answered after 15'. I called today. The virtual assistant, which is not helpful, hung up on me. I called a second time, put on hold waiting for a rep, then, after 10 minutes, disconnected. Called a 3rd time, finally spoke to an unhelpful rep, asked to be transferred to returns. I was transferred and am still on hold after 20 minutes. Unless you are absolutely sure that you will receive the item you want that meets all of your circumstances, DO NOT do business with this company. You will waste time and money.

I cancelled 2 orders due to the length of time it was taking to receive these orders : cancellations requests are: A12151781 & A12151107. The purchase prices have now cleared my account. I have not received the merchandise, nor do I want it. Have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Cannot talk to a live person and am totally dissatisfied with this "bogus" company.

Bait and switch
Bait and switch. What a waste of my time, over an hour wasted. They advertise up to 25% off your first order if you sign up for emails. I sign up for emails, and then they say I need to create an account to get the discount and that the discount will automatically apply to the cart. I create the account and put 2 items in my cart and no automatic discount, even though the bar at the top of my screen says “25% discount activated”. I contacted them through chat for help and they only put a 12% coupon on my order. Since I was disappointed with getting only 12%, I asked the representative in the chat how to delete my account, she then ended the chat without answering me.
Be forewarned, don’t waste your time with this place.

Ordering is easy, everything else is inefficient
Ordering is easy on their website. What is frustrating is the inefficient aftermath. You don't get a proper invoice like in a PDF file, so you have to reach out via chat or phone. Then you get an order update with a tracking number that doesn't work or no link to the website where you can track. So again, call or chat.
Then the delivery says 2-3 business but days but gets delayed without any communication.
They don't respond to emails, they take more than 5 days to respond to a submitted ticket - if at all (I'm still waiting).
Then they send ridiculous emails asking you to call them to just find out that they don't take calls, instead they send you to the chat or help desk.
I don't recommend this company.

This company responded quickly to my inquiry. Jay-Pee was clear, timely and professional in his communication and a resolution to a price inquiry was fast. The lamps were packaged with great care, arrived perfect and are beautiful. Great quality products as well as great customer service from this company.

We recently purchased 3 ceiling fans for our home. Upon inspection we found one glass globe was damaged during shipping. Joy was able to take our information and get a new one sent to us. Great customer service should a problem arise. Thanks for your help
Scam
As others have stated, absolutely a scam. Not sure where to begin regarding the deception but everything I’ve read here is entirely accurate. If you don’t experience issues with your order, prices are competitive and items are usually received quickly. I’m sure those instances help build reputation seen here in positive reviews. If you need any assistance whatsoever, forget about it. Back and forth via email with each reply taking about 2 days. Items advertised as 3 day guarantee may actually ship via freight and take weeks/months on end to arrive (they’ll apologize and state that’s “automatically generated on the website” and “shipping times are never guaranteed”). If item winds up lost, customer service won’t assist in resolving as they’ll tell you once the item ships it’s out of their hands and insist you contact the carrier. After continued emails to customer service, they’ll ultimately agree to send a replacement noting that you’ll receive tracking info once the item ships. You won’t receive that info and their website never identifies the freight company for you to track anything. It only shows a random number that’s useless without knowing the carrier, and even that will only be visible for original order not replacement. In the case of original order, you’ll have to contact CS to identify the carrier the tracking number belongs to, and in the case of replacement to find out whether items have shipped at all. After all the run around dealing with not one but multiple freight companies on the initial order and not receiving shipping confirmation/tracking info as promised for replacement order, you’ll receive a random call from yet another freight company who can’t even clarify whether they’re calling to schedule delivery of the original item that was deemed lost or the replacement. When the replacement finally shows up and is damaged/flawed, they’ll apologize and offer replacement. When you decline and request return for refund, they’ll attempt to talk you out of it by stating you’ll be responsible for the return cost as well as 25% restocking fee. Although irrelevant here as item was damaged, freight return policy isn’t even listed on their site. Further, website deceptively advertises 2 or 3 day shipping at time of purchase rather than identifying as freight. When you tell them that’s absurd and the customer doesn’t pay for returns when there are issues, they’ll agree to cover and send a label. However, they’ll ultimately charge you anyway and if you’re fortunate enough to have caught it, it will be days more of back and forth emails attempting to resolve. Not surprisingly, confirmation emails regarding receipt of returned items won’t show any info regarding order totals/charges or refund amounts. The replies here from the company are bogus. Website is terrible and account info useless. As another reviewer mentioned, they absolutely delete information from their system making it impossible to confirm/track complete order history including charges and returns/refunds. You can’t follow order links and must search manually, but they’ll add letters to the order numbers after processing which makes them difficult to locate in system. The discounts are not worth it. Use a reputable retailer and steer clear of this one.
UPDATE #1: As expected, the scam continues. Reached out for confirmation of original charges and applicable refunds, as I saw a refund for what was exactly $100 less than original order total (order total 399.24, refund 299.24). As noted, neither order status/invoices under my account nor their return emails document refunds. Not surprisingly, I received a response that did not provide the requested info. Rather, another “apology” for the trouble and simply confirmation of a refund amount that is significantly less than original charges. Mind you we have emailed documentation of the company confirming we would not be charged for neither the return cost nor a restocking fee as item was damaged/flawed (never mind having taken over a month to arrive despite 3 day guarantee). I’m running out of characters here and will no longer update. Everything stated still stands regardless of what they ultimately do or don’t do. The scam tactics and efforts to deceive are major red flags.

Had an issue with Fedex delivering to the wrong address. A few days later they located and delivered the missing items, however they were damaged(due to Fedex). Experienced difficulty with customer service online trying to get replacements, went back and forth for almost a week with no result. Finally had time to call in and spoke with Gerard who took care of getting the damaged items replaced quickly
