Had 2 new tyres done yesterday and had to order 2 more which I was told would be in after 3pm. I said I’d return after 3pm or the following day, noticed a dust cap was missing so called them to let them know. So today - Saturday I revisit. There was a queue so I went to reception to check the tyres were in, I was told they were, so waited an hour. After taking the 2 tyres off I was told the tyres had been dropped off at Sittingbourne instead of Sheppey, so they had to go and get them. So far I have sat here for 2 hours waiting for 2 tyres to be fitted. I’ve used this garage for 24 years, the staff were as helpful as can be but this is unacceptable, I’ve spent 3 hours getting 4 tyres done. I’ll not be returning for tyres. Tracking done as an apology.

I’m disappointed that we left a dust cap off your vehicle, this is such a silly error and so easily avoidable, so I apologise for this.
I also apologise for the fact that you were told the tyres were at the branch when in fact they had been dropped at another branch. This was an oversight by the work experience student at the desk on the day, she had looked up the incorrect tyre size.
Unfortunately, the next two issues are beyond my control. Saturday’s do get very busy and wait times are just something that I cannot predict until the day. Whilst I’m happy that the tyres were ordered to the correct branch, they were delivered by a 3rd part courier to our Sittingbourne depot. As I have no control over 3rd party couriers this is something that I or the company had no influence over.
I am however happy that my staff on the day went to Sittingbourne to pick the tyres up for you. This will of course have made the situation worse though, we were already busy and had to lose a staff member for 40 minutes whilst going to collect the tyres, and this did of course increase wait times. But again, we didn’t cause the initial problem and suffered because of it.
And finally, I’m happy that my staff did your tracking for you free of charge as an apology.
I hope you have a change of heart and continue using us as the only part I feel that we got wrong was leaving a dust cap off, which again I apologise for. And we have taken on a work experience student in order to help her gain experience and make transitioning into the workplace easier in future. This is something that a lot of companies shy away from these days, maybe for this reason? Not us though, we believe that everyone deserves a chance, and we want to help the young people of today find employment.

2 new tyres for my van
Really good and friendly I rung up as I needed 2 front tyres for my van and they had them in stock and fitted them with no issues. Really happy with the service and will always use them.

I had a flat tyre
I had a flat tyre, used a sealant which wasn’t sure if it worked or not. A2 had it for over an hour checking and re checking, seems the sealant worked so they didn’t charge me as they couldn’t find a leak.
Awesome service, very nice guys, highly recommend. Thanks

Very helpful with our puncture! The costumer service was very good she asked us all the key questions and got straight to the point. I believe her name was Tia. Extremely impressed, I went home with exactly what I wanted in less than 15 minutes!

So helpful
On the way to work- work for emergency services and had a puncture
Popped to a2 tyres sittingbourne however it was before they opened at 8.00am
So grateful to Jonathan- he offered to replace the tyre straight away even though it was before his start time and I was able to continue to work and not be so late.
The team were absolute stars and could nt have been more helpful or polite- thankyou so much

Tyre puncture left to get on with it by AA. A2 to my rescue s
I had just finished a 12 hour shift at the hospital, on my way home i got a puncture. As a member of AA I called them and was told it will take 2 + hours it was already 18.30 very dark and I was on my own . After waiting 1.5 hours I was called by AA to say they cannot fix the tyre tonight as everything is closed. I was then told to get myself home and they will come out in the morning. I rang my sister who told me about A2 tyres. OMG I wish I called them sooner, they answered straight away for out of hours, a lovely man called Tiarnan. Who was so honest and helpful, as I had already called my husband to come and get me, he said to keep price down if the car is safe. A2 would bring new tyre in the morning. if not he will come straight out to ensure I was safe that evening and change the tyre. Next day after confirming to Nikki I still want the tyre they came out and replaced it. I will always call this team from now on. Excellent service. I Took some business card for the hospital team

Highly recommend
I have been using A2 Sittingbourne for many years. Stuart, Paul and the team have been incredible whenever we have asked for advice or for repairs to be undertaken. With 5 cars in our family, we are regular visitors!!! Today (Sat 9th Dec 2023), I experienced a sudden blow out on my way to drop my youngest son at Gatwick Airport. I made an urgent call to Rob from the Detling team and he kindly rescheduled his teams appointments so that a technician could attend as soon as possible so that my son did not miss his flight.
A chap named Francis, from the mobile unit, came to my rescue within the hour and replaced my tyre. He was polite, professional and incredibly calm despite my cars position on such a busy road. I am always grateful to A2 tyres for their help, but on this occasion, saying I am grateful would be an understatement!!!!! Thank you A2 tyres from The Bakers :)

Replacement Tyre
Had severe puncture when away from home requiring new tyre. Contacted A2 hoping that they could get me going same day. Phoned A2 at 08:00 spoke to lady about my problem, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Arranged mobile to pick up my new tyre and meet me at location. Ted arrived on time 10.30 very friendly and efficient had me up and running in 20 minutes. Highly recommend A2 will be my first call in future. Price competitive also. Thanks A2.

Life saver!
Wanted to leave a review after my experience with a2 tonight.
I was driving down a very dark country lane and ended up driving straight over a large rock (I know not the best move!) which then got jammed under the middle of my car, with a massive bit of luck an a2 van just happened to be passing a few minutes later and so kindly offered to help me. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if they hadn’t been passing at that time as it was a pitch black lane and I was alone with no phone signal. I was too shaken up to ask for the man’s name at the time but I wanted to say the biggest thank you for his help and for being so kind. You now have a new customer as myself and my family will be using your business whenever needed! Thank you again for calming me down and allowing me to get me home safe - as your vans say you definitely do go the extra mile!

Stuck Locking Wheel Stud
I couldn’t loosen my locking wheel studs after they had been over tightened by another workshop. So I went to A2s as Ive been using them for over 30 years and they always been professional and trustworthy.
Scooter on reception couldn’t be more helpful booking my car in and Alex did an amazing job removing the locking wheel studs with out causing any damage. As always, very pleased with the service at a reasonable price.

Some companies do not correctly torque up wheel nuts, and over tightening them is just as bad as not tightening them up enough. We always ensure that everything is carried out in accordance with the specifications relating to the vehicle.
