Fantastic service and great product. Has exceeded my expectations. 5 star reviews are absolutely spot on. Best ISP I have used.
On a completely different level to any other communications provider. Like dealing with a small local firm. Support calls are answered immediately, usually by the same very knowledgeable person. Any line issues and they act immediately. Information provided by their system is second to none too.
They provide our line, broadband and VOIP services.
Does you ISP send you an email whenever your connection drops? Whether it is unplugging the phone line, turning off the modem or OpenReach problems (sadly they don’t know which). Used them for years for DSL, VDSL and FTP, great service and real people providing support. Do yourself a favour and check them out.
I moved to them from BT. A&A are not only cheaper, but their diagnostics and tech support are far better. Highly recommended.
I have been using A&A for over 8 years now, when my old ISP went bankrupt and left me (and others) in the lurch at Christmas 2016. A&A got me connected within a few days. On the few times I've had to get in touch, I've always found their UK-based advisers to be polite, knowledgeable and professional. No problems with the connection, always willing to sort things out with BT, and no hanging about on the phone in a queue. I've never had a problem with slowdowns or throttling, but then again I'm not a gamer, but I do use YouTube & Netflix. I recently had FTTP (Full Fibre) installed, and the process was seamless. I have the 160/30mbs option which is more than enough for me. No problems (not even teething) since it was installed in early December.
A&A are not the cheapest, but the quality of the router, line & service are incomparable. BTW, their website always keeps you informed of forthcoming or ongoing works in your area. Highly recommended.
Great ISP with a very helpful customer service team. Can’t recommend enough.
Second worst ISP ive used (after Virgin Media). Ridiculous pricing, ridiciulous quota (Yes, in this day and age!).
And despite the claims, appalling customer support.
The only good thing I got from these people was a decent router (which i still use today for 300mbit fibre).
I can not understand all the positive reviews, friends and family?

Sadly, as I live in a country place, I can’t give AA any better than 2*. If a storm like Darragh takes out the cable, we still have to pay for the service we aren’t getting as AA have not signed up for the OFCOM code of practice. This last time we were without any service for 14 days. No proactive follow up with Openreach (‘I’m sure they’ll fix it in due course’) - I had to ring AA, and Openreach won’t talk to me because they provide services to AA not me. With a 91 year old in the house and minimal mobile reception, information matters. Great pity, but it’s galling to pay more and get less.
Sadly, given that outages like these are likely to get more frequent, I shall be looking elsewhere. I’m sure it’s great for those in cities where infrastructure is more robust.

Consistently excellent service, from sales and support team. The technical abilities of their offering are unmatched and the recent switchover from FTTC to FTTP was straight forward.

This is *the* ISP for anyone who likes talking to actual real human beings who are knowledgeable and able to help! Possibly the only service like this left in the known universe!
They're also great value for money and technically excellent. I can't imagine going to another ISP ever again, and if you're not a customer I recommend you head over there ASAP.
Their emails aren't formatted as if they spent £££ on artwork and advertising, and like everyone else sometimes things go wrong, but the different with A&A is that they then pick up the phone, figure out what is wrong within a few minutes and then fix it. Wow! It is like going back in time!
Been with them for 9 years now and can't rate them highly enough; they deserve more stars :)

I had a problem with my VOIP phone and box that links to the router. It’s quite difficult to change the settings on this so Andrews & Arnold offered to fix the issue if I sent the equipment back to them in the post and they would return it. This there did and I don’t think they even charged for the return postage so can definitely recommend this company this fix issues when they arise.

I transferred my FTTP and internet phone service from Sky to A&A using their one touch switch system. I placed the order online and was asked for a preferred transfer date. The service was automatically transferred on the appointed date. I am using the A&A technicolor router which has 2 phone sockets meaning I could just swap out the Sky hub and plug my phone into the new router. All very painless.
I highly recommend them.

Andrews & Arnold are the best. No gimmicky marketing or drowning you in communications. Just a highly professional and expert company at what they do, providing first class services in broadband and networking. They provide excellent advice and go above and beyond, without ever sticking you in a queue or shoving you out to a call centre. I would never go anywhere else.

I was lucky that One Touch Switching had just been introduced and switching to Andrews & Arnold was a breeze. I use my own router and had FTTP with my previous ISP. There were several reasons why I switched, firstly A&A has a good service reputation, secondly VoIP is available and thirdly IPv6 is active. Whilst I had no technical problems with my previous ISP, I needed to switch my traditional analogue phone line to digital (VoIP) as the old landline had been destroyed in a lightning strike and A&A could do that simply. A&A may not be a budget ISP but I'm glad I switched to them.

I've been with a variety of ISPs over the years and lately on a Three 5G broadband service. The 5G was great when it worked but had high latency and frequent outages. Working from home a reliable service is paramount. Working in the networking/IT field and having a fairly significant home IT infrastructure I wanted an ISP where I can use whatever router I wish, preferably with a static IP address. Bandwidth is a bandwagon I'm not fussed about and c150mb is more than adequate for my needs. Lots of research led me to Andrews & Arnold and I'm glad it did.
Here is what I would call a proper ISP. Very transparent about their network, utilisation, and infrastructure. I'm more than happy that they expect their customers to have some technical ability, it suits me down to the ground.
I ordered their home package with 1TB/month capacity on a 130mb down and 30mb up and a month in it has been 100% reliable, the only blips were down to me rebooting my router, nothing to do with A&A's service. Latency is very low which leads to a very snappy experience and I'm using about 2/3rds of my monthly 1TB allowance so all good.
I love the fact I can see ALL the stats of my circuit from A&A's website, good luck getting that level of detail from any of the big name ISPs. Who gives a stuff what A&A's customer portals look like, I don't. They are perfectly usable and functional and, crucially, give you all you need.
A static IPv4 address AND IPv6 address space is an added bonus and allows me to host my services at home as and when I need/want to. Copious amounts of documentation available on the website is appreciated.
A&A fill a much needed niche in my opinion. They provide a solid service with no bells and whistles and assume you have some technical skills, likewise I don't think they'd insult me with the old 'turn it off and on again' or 'reset your router' tosh that Three seem to fall back on. Should I need any technical support then being able to phone a small team who tallk techy is a huge bonus.
So what about the elephant in the room - the price? Yes, A&A aren't the cheapest and I could have gone with a 1gb service for less but.... that would have meant dealing with call centres, CGNAT, poor technical support, and being one customer of many thousands and therefore 'disposable' as demonstrated by Virgin and Three recently.
If you're serious about your broadband service (and you should be) then A&A should be top of your shortlist for consideration. I'm very pleased with the service and it's a price that I think offers good value for what I get from it.

Bit of an odd one this as I can't actually review the service, this is a review of their sales team. So I contacted the sales team as I wanted to place an order for bonded fibre or potentially a full leased line. This was for a house, not a business. I did manage to talk to the sales team on the phone and explain what I was looking for and the chap on the phone was knowledgeable. He told me to email the sales team with the full details. I did this and waited, and waited and didn't hear anything back. So then I sent another email to ask if they were still interested in quoting for the install. And again, I didn't hear anything back. This was a bit disappointing, I contacted several suppliers so I had more than one quote. AA were the only supplier who didn't respond. I would have been happy with a simple, 'thanks for the query but we're unable to supply a service to you'. I didn't receive anything though, and writing all the details for the quote took me a fair bit of time. Ultimately, I did use this same email with other suppliers though so its not like my time was wasted. I had a feeling that AA would have been the best quote, after looking at their website and comparing the pricing on there against similar offers from their competitors. In the end, I had little choice but to go with someone else. And this was a £250 per month service, not a small home broadband line. I'm unsure if they just saw me as a small little fish and weren't interested but I think it would have been courteous just to reply and let me know this.

Great ISP. Been with AAISP for a few years on FTTC, moved to FTTP about a month ago.
Great performance, great service.
I have been a customer with various services from A&A for a number of years. The service and product is nothing less than fantastic. With technical people who know their product.
Any issues are dealt with promptly
A superb experience and company.
Well done!
