This is a great company for this course. The teacher Trevor Storey made this electrical regulations course entertaining and interesting. He personally helped me and gave me the confidence to pass. Many thanks to Trevor and all the team at Able Skills.

I am a painter and decorator. But wall papering never really came my way very often,so I booked a 5 day course at able skills for wall papering level one. I got to hang lining paper and wall paper.
Our tutor Mark was extremely good at explaining all different aspects of hanging paper.
He was at hand all the way through the course to answer questions and physically help if needed.
I will definitely be going back to take level two in wallpapering.
My knowledge and confidence in wallpapering has really grown.

I did the DIY Tiling course with Jason, what an amazing experience and class.
I left feeling very happy and will be returning to do the advance course.

Great experience. Done the level 2 home study in plumbing. Had Tony who you can ask anything! Had Tony 3 weeks out of the 4 and he is a very knowledgeable bloke who wants you to take as much knowledge with you when going ino the plumbing world. Very relaxed atmosphere at Able skills and would definitely recommend to anyone if they wanted to get a career in trade.

Done my level 2 and 3 electrics here and couldn’t have had a better experience. From the ladies in the office always being helpful to my teacher George who not only is just an amazing teacher but just an all round great human being!

Too much knowledge of books . Not much to do practically. No boiler works whenyour finding faults. All faults are basic .

Very well established and managed the course. Best equipment . Gentleman with almost 45 years of experience in Gas engineering lead us to certain points which we are capable to carry on the investigation and find the fault in different systems. I believe you are one of the best in country. Big thanks to TONY. YOU ARE THE KING

I recently did the 5 day introduction to plastering. Neil was my instructor and was a top guy. I was fully supported throughout the week, everything was explained well and I’ve come away with a lot of confidence. 5* from me thanks again Neil.

Electrician NVQ LV3, with George, you will absolutely have no issues. He will take you to be a competent person, smell the faults when you get to premises. What you need to do, listen what George say in the lesson and work hard in your assignment 👍🏻👍🏻

I have completed my Level 2 and 3 here, and I cannot recommend it enough. George made the course so enjoyable and engaging thanks to his passion and commitment; he truly cared about helping us understand how to carry out electrical construction and inspection safely. This fantastic experience is exactly what made me decide to carry on and complete my NVQ with Able Skills.

I recently undertook the Level 2 Experienced Worker Route Electrical course at the Able Skills centre.

Initially, I was quite stressed and worried that it would just feel like being shuffled from one exam to another, but that was not the case at all.

Robert, our instructor, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. He really helped ease the nerves with his witty attitude and sense of humour, and he made the whole group feel more relaxed during what could have been a stressful time.

He guided us through everything clearly and helped us navigate the course with confidence.

I would definitely recommend Able Skills to anyone looking to complete this route. If you are lucky enough to have Robert as your instructor, you will most definitely enjoy your time there.

I was apprehensive coming onto the course after reading the booklet but Robert helped alleviate that from the get go. Very clear delivery and quickly cleared up any gaps in knowledge. Entered all exams feeling confident and everything was passed with high marks. The week is heavy but Roberts good attitude and mannerisms helped us all cope and provided us with great learning environment. He is a credit to able skills.

The training provided by Robert Burgess was second to none. Very knowledgeable with a great training method. Competent spark and it shows.
