The jewellery is beautiful. My wife and daughter loved the necklaces. Sarah looked after a delivery mix up promptly and was very understanding. Very customer friendly!

Adeline Jewelry

If possible I would rate this business -5! I feel so stupid allowing myself to get scammed by them! They absolutely will not return my money and I hold out no hope of ever receiving my order from them! STAY AWAY! They also say they’re located in Toronto, not true!

It’s scam

It’s scam. I paid 120 dollars, for bubble gum machine jewellery. It’s all plastic. I’m throwing it all in the garbage. Do not purchase from this company - do not purchase from Ads on Facebook. Learned my lesson. Hope they feel real good about stealing from people!

Adeline Jewelery knock offs

The Facebook ad said hand made by designer Adeline in Toronto. Just received my order shocked by the poor quality. They are definitely mass produced cheaply. They were gifts, but I'm too embarrassed to give them. Hope I will receive a refund.

Falsely advertised I got a completely…

Falsely advertised I got a completely different earring than the one advertised. I would show the photos if Trust pilot would let me. The make of the earring was so cheap. It was amazon pieces glued together. The gemstone glue was visible. I had an earring that felt like a $10.00 costume jewelry while she advertised, $120 discounted at $40.00 How unethical. Even the actually gold around the gemstone was completely different. People must think we are stupid. I mean we work damn hard for our money as Canadians and when we choose to spend it, it's not out of sponataneity. I had been looking for earrings for a while and NOT GOLD PLAITED.. these are advertised as vintage gold. They are costume jewelry and literally fake gold. I am so irate. I also waited over 10 days for delivery from TOronto to Niagara Falls via a courier. SO disgusted. No wonder they are going out of business and I believe that too is a lie. Probably to get rid of all their cheap jewelry. I could have ordered the pieces from amazon and made it myself. This is NOT HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY. IT IS PIECES BOUGHT ON AMAZON PUT TOGETHER BY HAND. HUGE DIFFERENCE. I TOOK A RISK AND I HAVE JEWELLER FRIENDS SO I DO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAND CRAFTED, FROM THEIR OWN MOLDS.. AND SILVER AND GOLD TO PIECES BEING ORDERED IN BULK AND MASS AND PUT TOGETHER. FALSE ADVERTISING. DO NOT PURCHASE JEWELRY FROM THEM. IT IS CHEAPLY MADE. AND NOT WHAT THEY ADVERTISE AS.

I feel really bad, I fell for a Scam!

I feel really bad, for the first time in my life I fell for a scam. I ordered two beautiful looking (on the website) pieces. It was very cheap plastic stuff that I received. They did not even try to cover that it was a scam, the pieces look so bad. I feel ashamed, that I fell for that. Do not buy!

One piece of 4 was beautiful

One piece of 4 was beautiful. The other 3 looked like they were made from brass. 3 days back and forth for a refund. You have to pay to return it. Could be a great company if the jewellery had the quality across the board.

Cheap jewelry

I ordered from this company in october thinking it was canadian made as I like to shop canadian-mistake #1. They advertised lovely jewelry with a 30 day money back guarantee mistake #2. Was told company was closing that they were selling off stock at great prices...mistake #3.
Shipping took forever and during shipment I realized the product was being delivered from China, even though I was led to believe it was in Toronto. It took a long time to arrive and when it finally did it was cheap metal used and the ring tarnished after being worn 3 times. When I asked about returning they said they would give me 20 percent refund which equalled $13.00...i had already spent $65.00 plus. Then they said they could send relacement instead of me having to return items. Another mistake....it was replaced with the same cheap jewelry just different style...now I have 2 garbage rings and 2 sets of cheap ugly earrings.
Buyer beware when thinking of ordering from adeline....DON'T THIS is the worst online experience I have had and would advise anyone thinking of ordering from Adeline don't save your money. Needless to say i will not be ordering from this company again... false advertising in my opinion and very cheaply made product.
I guess if it seems to good to be true it probably is....sad that this kind of false advertising is allowed.

Please save your hard-earned money and spend elsewhere!

This website is a total scam and a perfect example of how unscrupulous people can use AI to sell a mediocre product; make it seem like their product is handcrafted and composed of quality materials; and, promote impeccable customer service when they have no intention of providing it. None of it is accurate. Purchased 4 sets of earrings that were supposed to be handcrafted from a supposed small business person going out of business. They stated they were in Toronto and I like to support local. The earrings were still pricey for an unidentified metal but sometimes it is worth it to support small local businesses.

Then first indication something was not as advertised was when I received the shipping notification which I was shocked to find Identified China as the point of origin NOT Toronto. I instantly contacted them and received a non commital response. It took almost two weeks for delivery. I became concerned about the logistics of return international shipping in the event the product was substandard. I was purchasing from Toronto and not China…that should have been disclosed before purchase. Deception 1.

When the earrings arrived the craftsmanship and machine tool marks revealed the second dishonest statement: nothing about these items were handcrafted. The alloy used was very heavy in the hands and the pair of dragonfly earrings rattled strangely due to the cheap alloy which would have driven a sane person mad. These were not made of what they termed ‘fine metals’. They were less than stellar in appearance and felt heavy in the hand which meant they would feel even heavier in the ear. I wasn’t interested in even trying. To be honest, for years I have happily purchased earrings from Walmart and the quality and price were better than Adeline Jewellery. I am definitely not a jewellery snob and truly hoped they would be great.

Their website offers a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied but only 1% of their clients took advantage of it! You felt they would take care of the customer and it sure created confidence in purchasing. Ironcially, their guarantee statement can be counted as deception number 3 and maybe the only truthful statement they printed on their website. Only 1% of their clients will take advantage of the 100% money back guarantee because they make it intentionally vague and difficult: in order to get any refund you must ship it back internationally and assume all of the costs. I have exchanged 4 emails about returning and they keep holding back on giving me the return address telling me to research the various shipping companies…I am assuming the return is to China but not sure where!

I have also been given the option of taking a 20% refund since they’re going out of business and not returning items to inventory.. Deception No. 4-i have received multiple emails which were NOT store closing emails inviting me to take advantage of wonderful offers, discounts and promotions that spotlighted new collections. What closing business introduces new collections? In every email they say they want to support me, understand my frustration and ensure a good customer experience…I am sure it is a Chatbot as they are extremely polite and respectful but ineffective in providing a solid response. The quality of these earrings are not worth a 20% refund which is why I want to try to prevent others from purchasing. You should get a better quality earring for your money. I think this strategy has been very successful for them.

Around this point I started researching this company…there are reviews on Reddit and also on YouTube revealing the same issues I am discussing so I feel committed to making sure no one else loses good money if they are wise and research the company beforehand! I will be doing so from now on. Instagram seems to be a safe haven for these companies masquerading as Canadian.

The reviews on their website are probably AI generated. They are glowing!! Even the most diligent companies get mediocre reviews every now and then…if they are reputable and real.i never received an invitation to review after purchase and most companies do invite feedback. This company is not interested. I will update my review once the transaction and return is finished to let you know what to expect. With the gift giving season here I so want to prevent another persons disappointment.
