The booking process with Manawa was fast, professional and simple. Their agents are knowledgeable and very friendly. They checked in after the booking process to ensure everything went well. Love this level of customer service. This was our first booking with Manawa, but we will definitely use them again in the future!

They will steal your money!!! Very bad booking service. Bad communicating and. No service at all. We showed up on time they didn’t have our quads available and still charge/ stole 220 euro for nothing. They said they will pay everything back and still steal your money !!!

Used Manawa to book my Raclette Rubber Boat Tour on Lake Brienz, Interlaken. The event was a magical experience with excellent food, wine and lovely scenery. Could not ask for more. The boat driver was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable. Made the night even more memorable. Manawa made the booking extremely easy.

Did the 2 hour guided kayak and snorkelling tour along the cliffs of Los Gigantes in Tenerife. It was amazing. The guides are very passionate about the local marine life and the islands environment.

Terrible refund experience — avoid booking through Manawa

I booked a Self-Drive Dog Sledding Safari in Tromsø for 1 November 2025 (Booking #1321918). The experience was cancelled the day before due to bad weather — completely understandable — but Manawa has still not refunded me more than a week later.

I’ve sent two follow-up emails, and each time they reply with vague excuses like “we’re waiting for feedback from the instructor,” which makes no sense when the activity never took place. The provider cancelled, so a prompt automatic refund should have been issued.

So far, I’ve been fobbed off and left out of pocket, which is unacceptable for a reputable booking platform. I would strongly advise anyone booking Arctic activities to book directly with the local operator instead — Manawa adds no value and makes refunds unnecessarily difficult.

If I don’t receive the refund shortly, I’ll be escalating through my payment provider.

This was my first time using Manawa. I was researching a SUP tour and when I was looking up the Google reviews for the tour company - there was a link to book tours via Manawa. Having seen hugely positively reviews, I thought I would be fine. The tour that I booked was cancelled - I was offered another date- I responded to their email in under 10 mins from them sending them, with multiple follow up emails. I keep getting automated emails asking me to respond to them (but no actual responses to the emails that I have sent) Missed the window for a rescheduled tour and I just want to be refunded. It seems you are fine if everything goes smoothly but they are terrible at resolving issues or responding to emails.

Edited: they did eventually get back to me to cancel and refund so I have added a star. Still, I think their response was very slow especially as they contacted me requesting an urgent response.

It was great, very nice people, nice boat, a great experience

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with humpback whales. The instructor Simon, was fabulous. He knowledge of the whales behavior is extraordinary. He worked very diligently to make sure we could get in the water and swim with the whales. His work paid off. We swam with them in open blue water. I would highly recommend this tour company.

Swift and smooth refund processing.

We booked a whale watching tour with them but then had to cancel. I messaged them for a refund and it was processed the next day and refunded the following morning.

I'm very happy with the smoothness of the process.

We had an amazing experience rafting on the Danse River organised by Manawa. The provider they used; Evolution 2 were just exceptional. Friendly and enthusiastic staff and all equipment provided.

I had such a great time surfing with Manawa! The vibe was super friendly and relaxed, but also very professional. Booking was super easy and intuitive, and even when I had to make some changes it was all handled quickly. The surf spot was a bit crowded, but that’s part of Hossegor and Allison – my amazing instructor – made sure I felt safe and confident in the water. She was patient, motivating, and made every session so much fun. Thanks to her, I improved way more than I expected. Totally recommend Manawa if you want to surf, progress and enjoy every moment🤙

Magical hike! I'm very glad that we took this tour with Mark. The hike through the night forest was not difficult, we didn't have to climb into holes on foot. There were long stops where we could have eaten. In the pre-night forest we saw a deer! In the night forest fireflies ;) but I went for the night sky, the Milky Way and shooting stars. And that was all! Mark is an excellent storyteller with encyclopedic knowledge in all areas. It was interesting to listen. The road back was a separate magic. I recommend it to everyone. They explained that in winter they walk shorter, in snowshoes.

100% positive experience

We drove to place we were send. Nobody there! Called 4 times! No reply from the instructor. Waited over 40 minutes!

Now they won’t refund.

They have my money and they strongly make use of that in the emailing contact afterwards; asking me to prove I was there at the time? What u want me to do?

Paid 100 bucks for nothing!

We booked our first rafting, with children. We loved and enjoyed it. The guide was good and very nice. He knew how to make it look easy and we enjoyed how he handled it.

Tip: afterwards people are thirsty, same as with divisie. Offer something to drink

We booked canyoning and zip wire trips in the French Alps with Manawa. On both occasions the whole process from booking through to completion of the activity was straightforward and efficient. Both activities were incredible too!

Useless. Unable to secure the booking but held my.money hostage. Emailing and support didn't answer questions. I just wanted to cancel and they wouldn't even confirm that. Don't give them your money

Less than 3 hours before, and I still don't have an answer!
