Had a great experience with using their website. Saw a bunch of transactions from Adyen with zero clue where they came from. Luckily they directed me to the look-up tool and through that I found where to process my refund. Went through super fast!

This is the most useless company I ever had to deal with. My partner by accident transfered the payment received back to Adyen. The merchant told us that because the money was transfered back to Adyen's bank account we should be contacting Adyen for the money but Ayden support team keep on sending us back to the merchant. What is even more hopeless is the fact that you cannot speak to anyone to solve this issue ( which should be simple to resolve)we are now 2 weeks further and still waiting on the money. Someone pleae help us!

They directed me to their website so I could find the company that authorised the purchase which was a comfort after seeing monthly payments gone.

Used their terminal at Uniqlo and the fact that there’s an option to give to my favourite charity really warmed my heart.

Crazy fast. Was buying a bunch of beer for a party and my hands were full. Was shocked that it took my Apple Pay from my Apple watch so quickly and easily. Was able to leave quickly and get back to my party.

We use their payment system in our bar and although we have experienced some bumpy moments with glitching, the support team helped us quickly!

As an Etsy seller I was highly impressed with how quickly the payout went through. Means a lot to small businesses like mine!

I ordered food that was cold off UberEats and requested a refund. When UberEats approved the refund I had the money instantly in my bank account. I saw that the refund was processed by Adyen - very impressed with this service.

Always handy and reliable. Just make sure you’re fully aware of your subscriptions & purchases because they can be automatically debited on your account with your consent.

What went wrong? Its completely ripped off as there is no customer service and no one is there to answer your question.

None of their document line up with their hardware, their integrations are awkward and they give you the illusion of a good system with potential options, but for the ones you really need to use for a standalone set up, you need to ask for them to activate.

They'll send you irrelevant documentation and pretend their job is done there, and that's if you're lucky. They won't even mention their standalone documentation that is needed PRIOR to the PDQ set up.

Also sometimes they'll just ignore emails because they feel like it.

Arrogant, assey, horrendous to work with. Genuinely making me debate leaving the company I work for due to them being so incompetent and this company choosing them without any background checks -_-.

SCAM THEY CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD TWICE, FROM POLAND WARSAW, PIER PL. IT GOT TRACED BACK TO ADYEN TECH SUPPORT. I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY GOT MY CARD INFO ONLINE PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

Adyen NV is scam company without telling me they tried to deduct money twice from my account. I never authorized for it . Be careful .

Shortly: Avoid Adyen if you can. I paid expensive 250 e concert season tickets 1 month ago. Adyen has not transmitted my payment to the ticket company. I lost my seat reservation in the concert hall. Thank you Adyen... With modern technology it is possible to transmit money in few seconds. It seems that Adyen doesn't live in the 21st century.

Breach of Confidentiality and Poor Technology

We were forced to connect to Adyen as our POS operator were removing support for our payment system which worked perfectly.

In the two month process that it took to connect, Adyen connected our account to another company's account and we could see all their financial details. It took several calls and over 48 hours notice for them to resolve the issue. No communication or response from them or apology.

Furthermore, their payment technology is poor compared to others on the market. No integration to popular accounting systems (MYOB, Xero) or a dedicated app to view or manage your Adyen account.

Avoid this payment system at all costs.

Slow process and terrible customer service.
I made a transfer to Wise (2000 EUR), the transfer never reached Wise (due to technical error) but the money was gone from my account.
The money was transferred to Adyen IBAN (Wise's bank partner).
I asked Wise for a refund and they initiated a refund but I haven't received the money (it's been more than 2 weeks since then).
Adyen is the one holding the money but it seems they have no idea about what is going on.
I tried many times contacting Adyen customer service but they keep pointing me back to Wise or avoiding my question.
How this poor customer service can exist is beyond my understanding, this is just a simple case of transferring money and they handle it like a child.
To Adyen, if you read this, I'm talking about the refund from the Wise's PSP reference WQJD3CPH8LMRC2C2 (support ticket 3858587).
