Waste of time and money. Paid for a one month subscription, now cancelled but still trying to charge my card. Luckily I use a card that I only put money in when I buy something, so won't be getting any more money from that account.
Must be doing very badly to not be able to understand that when you cancel a subscription it's for a reason, but they keep charging.
But it seems that is how all these so called dating sites are going, full of fake profiles or scammers or people who want you to go to another site to chat at an even higher cost.
But suppose you got to generate revenue to keep the site going, so why not rip people off and get out clause is hiding a specific term in the small print, pages of it to read and I mean read sentence by sentence all the way through to the end. If you read they might use a fictitious profile now and then, read that to mean that a real profile might get through occasionally but the rest are all fake on the site.

Gave 1 star because I cant give less.
Use mobile phone and cant find a way to unsubscribe.
TIP. Send them a message cancelling.
Then gi to your bank and firbid them fro. Paying these fraudsters any more money.
The bank will give you written cinfirmation that you have cancelled so if they do pay out by mustake you are GUARANTEED to get your money back.
* My profile was wide open but restricted on miles.......they sent loads of womens profilesc20 and 30 years younger than me and not only from all over the country, but from Ireland as well.
I replied to as many as I could.
Not 1 reply.......zero replies.
If it was a genuine site I would have got at least 1
Conclusion. . . This is a money making opportunity for site owners. I dont even think these are real profiles. There is ni customer service and when you send a message the reply diesnt even answer the question you asked.
Still trying to cancel membership.
Now it says to use a laptop and hivet with a mouse.....who uses a mouse nowadays even if they have a laptop.

This dating site is a scam. I cancelled my membership 3 months ago but they still took payment, I even cancelled and got a new card but they have taken 2 further payments. I have asked for my money back in full so we will see what they say

I've been a member for several months.

Its a ghost town and even when it does try to suggest members to me, they're over 100 miles away.

I did the carousel thing once and after that it will rarely even come up with one new suggested profile to look at. My filter settings aren't even very restrictive, except for distance.

*NOTE* - you can only unsubscribe from a desktop or laptop. You can't do it over the Mobile. Not an issue for me, but could be for others.

i cannot remove an account that i was not aware i was creating as i only thiught it was match. now they say i can only do it on a laptop and i dont use one😂 what a f joke.

I only gave it 1* because I can't give a zero or minus. Signed up for 3 months, after the tedious enrolment process, was promised ple ty of potential tial matches in or around Gosport so set distance to 50miles. Ages between 57 - 60 omg shouldve seen this coming none one from within 70 miles and all over 70yrs old!!! Cancelled within 14 days, but they said never received it so took another month out, after dozens of emails and repeating myself Eventually got it cancelled. PLUS and this is the big one lots of 20 something girls all wanting whatapp details, clearly another West African scan per other sites. Would I recommend d? never in a million years this site is linked to Match.com so so people same crappy algorithms and sames lack of customer.er care or interest. Silver si goes much more professional and manageable. Also Affiny has no app so you have to constantly log in !!!! Absolute rip off service

Overpriced and delivers very little indeed. In fact I'm lying. It delivers nothing.....except a very very high price.

I have been on Affiny since November 2021 and every month they take £39.99 from my account. And not once have I had any matches or suggestions. What a total rip off! I've tried to cancel the account but it won't let me.

Site is an absolute joke - subscription prices are extortionate - go to the local pub, you'd have mre chance of meeting someone there. Site should be banned fron search engines

Well a year on and I am still seeing my man. I could not be happier.

Make it impossible to delete from your phone and no customer service email to help with anything. Also want payment and make you think it’s linked with match.com. It’s not!! Appalling.

This site is a complete con. Fortunately I didn’t pay but the people they suggest are taken from computer matches and are ludicrously unsuitable. You’d have as much luck picking random numbers from the phone book. You can’t delete your profile. I’ve changed mine to a 90 year old man with unappealing attributes but I still get matches. The reviews say it all. I’ve no idea how they get away with this.

Avoid avoid avoid! They send you profiles of people allegedly from your area but when you subscribe those people are nowhere near!

Not quite sure what they actually do. You'd be better saving your money and joining a reputable well known dating site, I would say this was a complete waste of time and money. I'm sure this will get the standard reply ' really sorry to hear your experience blah blah blah just dont join. I think the 98% 'bad' says it all

The site is useless. The matching system was at best ineffective, but my major issue is that when after six (minimum period) wasted months I cancelled my subscription, they continued to charge me. I have so far been charged for a further two months. This despite the fact that my profile has been removed and I am no longer able to log in to contact them.

You can join on you phone dead easy
You can sign up for paid services too
But you can’t cancel or make changes that involve you paying less or not at all or cancelling your subscription or membership

Plus it advertises itself as a free site but has no usable functionality as a free site and even if you pay for basic subscription there are still most of the things you need to actually do what the site is for, that aren’t available unless you pay more

Filters don’t work, inundated with smokers and too young, too old and people of the wrong sex and many of the other filters

Avoid this site and it’s parent companies other sites at all costs

They should in principle at least be prosecuted under consumer law frankly

Absolute con job. They sent me an email claiming that someone in my town had viewed my profile - I had completed a profile but was holding back on joining until I saw the quality/proximity of the people that were sending me - suitably blinded.
The lady in question - after I had joined - lived in Plymouth, about a three and a half hour drive away!
Had I not been let to believe that she was local, I would not have joined today and would have waited to see if they were in contact with people local to my area.
This is an absolute con job!

Absolute farce. Managed to subscribe accidently just by clicking on the website somewhere. They find the sneakiest way possible to join you then make it virtually impossible to cancel.

Avoid at all costs. The only winner is them. Even after you have cancelled and received confirmation email , they continue to take money from your account. Nothing more or less than thieves. Disgusting customer service.

This website is cheating your money. I could not see the msg the other people sent until I paid the website! For the subscription of the service, it cannot even be canceled!
