I had high hopes for this dating site, but it is absolutely awful. Don't waste your money.

This site is or seems a scam paid money can't even to get back onto site wont let me chat, this is the first time I've been on one of these sites, awful, not recommended put me off any other sites.

NOT PART OF MATCH... it’s a separate site, a con & a waste of time. Poor show Match

More interest options to select from but no ability to search by interest. All you can do is random search by affinity score which does not work well. Also on mobile if you search a list every time you step out of a profile it puts you straight back to the top. Waste of time and money

I’ve been on the site less then a week and have been scammed by two profiles providing exactly the same information about themselves- single man (one with child, one without), in late 40s, good looking, born in Canada (Quebec), spent majority of live in New York and just recently moved to London, trying to settle and both are civil engineers.
Be careful!
Saying that I can’t complain about customer service which has responded very promptly and dealt with my complaint the way I wanted, hence why I gave 3 stars as I think it’s very important if site actually listens to their customers.

Don't join you cannot delete your account when you want to leave

As others have said it’s a con, I’m in match and all it says is fill in questions to improve your chances. You do this and next thing ££. Didn’t pay and deleted account. Will also be leaving match when subscription ends!!!!

Unmatched emails with profiles..

I like many others was diverted to this site when I decided to join Match. It was almost sold by Match as if it would open up your opportunities and would be inclusive within the Match subscription. It has taken me almost 2 years to consider even using a dating site again and now I find myself wishing I had not bothered. Fortunately I have not taken a paid subscription to Affinity but I have put all my data on and a photograph and I am getting favourite's & messages from people but I DON'T want to subscribe nor have my information on there. It is a complete breach of my privacy and will mislead people on there to thinking I am available. This is just a way of Affinity making it look like they have a large database of people.

Has anyone discovered how to delete their profile as the instructions saying how to do so, e.g., 'go into your account and select the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page'. that would be great if there was such a link. Any help much appreciated

Truely terrible ... spin off from match which is not clear when sign up with no control over account. Absolute rip off avoid

Avoid this site. Luckily I read some of the reviews here before I thought of subscribing. I was a member of Ourtime (another Match.com offshoot) and kept getting messages on how to increase my chances of finding my match in Affiny... Just like all the matches from ourtime these were totally not what I asked for. I live in the middle of the country, I don't want to be travelling over 100 miles for a coffee, even if we could which obviously we still can't (covid restrictions). Even if you specify your looking no further then say 50 miles, you still get matches in Glasgow or Cardiff or London because you also specified she had to be between 5'5" and 5'9"... This is clearly all done by algorithm and there is clearly no human imput, apart from yours.
Please read all the other reviews before parting with any cash...

I TRIED TO CANCEL THIS MEMBERSHIP AT LEAST A MONTH AGO,TO NO AVAIL.IT WOULD BE PRUDENT FOR THIS COMPANY TO SEND AN E MAIL TO MEMBERS CONFIRMING CANCELLATION.
I WOULD NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN

Match and there linked site Affiny are absolute garbage. It is just one great big scam to take money from you. I had a paid for subscription on both sites which was quite expensive in my view. Once I used this site after two days I noticed how fake the answers were from what I thought were real genuine women. I bececame suspicious of what was going on. You get blocked by every women you try to contact because the site in my opinion is using bots and random messages.

I really don't want to give it any stars at all, one is far to many but you have give it something.

Please, please all men and women out there do not join match or affiny for valentines day to find that special person you are looking for becuase if just take money of you like it candy. They have the check to keep billing you for months once you finally, find out how to unscubsribe. That can't be legal.

God, I'm really angry about this. Please don't use them to find happiness you just be disappointed.

An absolute scam. My intentions was to be on Match.com as guided by the payment link but once I had paid, I found myself on this affiny. An absolutely useless dating website
I’m trying as it is to recover my money so I can pay Match.com which is what I thought I had done in the 1st instance

you can not delete your account nor can you unsubscribe until 24 hours before the auto renew. i signed up for 6 months and am now stuck with it in the hope that i remember to stop the auto renew.....RIP OFF

I took a subscription at a special price. I can't upload any extra profile pictures. I deleted the original one and now I have no profile pictures. I thought I would have an inclusive Match.com subscription but this is not the case. There are many men on the site with no profile picture. I'm not surprised as the site doesn't seem to be working right. As I'd gone straight to looking for matches after I paid for my subscription, I'm now stuck with it for 3 months. I wish I hadn't used it and would not advise anyone else. Also there are few men on Affiny in my geographic area.

I since found a way to upload photos. While the whirlygig thing is whizzzing round and round, I hit refresh the page and it then uploaded the picture. I still have the problem that men on Match want to contact me but I don't have a subscription on Match. Affiny is separate and doesn't work like OurTime does where singles from Match and OurTime appear on each other's singles lists. Very confusing.
