WHERES THE REFUND I WAS PROMISED?

So following no delivery of my £600 order received out of the blue an email saying I would be refunded. Email address was a “no reply” address and with no way of contacting them there’s no way of checking anything. Definitely scamming people out of money and since my last review of this company I am seeing many other one star reviews all with the same experience I have encountered.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
I have contacted Doncaster Trading Standards office and suggest everyone else does.

UPDATE 27 March 2024 - Their website has disappeared! I contacted my credit card company who have refunded me. As a point I reached out to the UK Head of Klarna via LinkedIn and made her aware of the scam going on here. She is going to investigate.

Potential customers Affordable Rads - draw your own conclusions. Two expensive bathroom items ordered and paid for at £1,282.70. The first, a bath, 18/02, declared 'fallen out of stock' immediately cancelled, acknowledgement received, as at 08/03/24, no refund yet received. Second, a shower screen, 19/02, to be delivered 07/03, no show. Throughout, regular requests to assurance, or just information from what, on the face of it, a believable website, actually results in an impervious wall of silence, while they hold onto your money. Far be it from me to start to use some of the 'descriptive' language used here but rest assured it's exactly what I am thinking about, right now. So, Affordable Rads have a last chance to prove me wrong before I will gleefully press home the use of High Court enforcement. There should be enough in this for you to track down who I am, do the right thing, voluntarily!
After Trustpilot request to send further information to AR, now 11 March still no contact from AR, OR REFUND. Now opened Paypal case and Letter of Intent to take company to court will be posted tomorrow. Court letter now sent. 14 days to respond or court action will proceed without delay.

The company offers a product , takes your money, never delivers and they keep offering a new delivery day. No communication from them or deliver tracking. The company offer zero explanation why they failed to deliver such as stock or delivery issue. You finally cancel you order. The company is very quick to send a cancellation confirmation email. Promised a refund. So let’s see if they refund. It may new mean that I have to go via my bank to get this sorted. Too many people complaining of this same issue with this company. This leaves me questioning if this company is a scam? Do the company even sell the products they advertise?

This is a terrible company and I wish I had read reviews. Given a delivery date but no show . Eventually got through to a person on live chat ( no phone number ). who guaranteed they would deliver on another date . Took time off work , but again failed to turn up . I wanted to cancel but no way of doing this . Avoid this company at all costs . They are obviously not a reputable company . Don’t get caught out .

I ordered some radiator valves (thankfully relatively cheap - I doubt I'll ever see that money again). Had an email to request a suitable delivery date. This date came and went with no delivery. Emailed a couple of times and used their "live chat" which is absolutely not a live chat. I was unsure initially as there was mixed reviews on this site, but it was only after someone pointed out that all the 5 star reviews are from first time posters that I realised this is probably a scam.
I live in hope of a refund (goods purchased elsewhere now) but I would strongly advise to avoid engaging with affordable rads

I tried contacting on several occasions. First I contacted to cancel the order which hasn’t been dispatched. I contacted immediately. I then was told it’s been cancelled and I’ll be expecting an email. Nothing has been received I then had to chase this up and I was then sent an email confirming cancellation but nothing mentioned about the refund. I then had to contact them on several other occasions, and it’s been over a week and they are not responsive. The worse company. I’m expecting a refund from you soon, if not I’ll speak to my bank.

Ordered a sink from here as it was the exact model we wanted. Waited in twice for the delivery and nothing. I had contacted them after the first non delivery to be told it was the delivery companies problem. Couldn't get tracking or tell me who would be delivering it. Spoke to them again today to cancel the order and just waiting on my money back.

Would give 0 if I could. Do not recommend purchasing anything from this site.

Trustpilot says you can't name the director but google any of his past companies noted below or check them elsewhere on trustpilot and check his name and the reviews. As you will see from the previous 1 star no goods or damaged goods and no refunds are regular occurrences. This company number is 13521500, go to companies house site to check the gents name and his other ventures. If like me he has not refunded you why not contact watchdog at the BBC.

Email received on 27/12/23 confirming our cancellation order number 12800807963 for £658.50 from Affordable Rads on or before 9/1/24 as they could not deliver within a time frame.
Still haven't refunded, so will be taking legal action against them within the next 7 days.
Sent several emails that have been ignored.
Best buy somewhere else. They do not respond.

Radiator never arrived so chased via live chat and emails a number of times.

Eventually got a email response promising refund, but it never materialised and now they are ignoring all further emails and contact.

They have deleted several of my reviews on here, so I’m guessing all the positive ones are from their mates as all the negative ones only last a few days, then are removed.

Maybe if they stopped stealing from people, and spent more time actually delivering on what people pay for, they could spend less time chasing bad reviews.

Warning, do not use this company.

Ordered items , nothing received, followed up with no refund issued. Now pursuing through bank to get money back, and reporting to PayPal.

Note that there is no contact phone number, and the chat function is managed by an AI bot so zero customer contact.

Ordered a rad on the 7/12/23 didn't receive it for a lest a month.
Tried to contact through live chat it was impossible. Communication just didn't exist tried everything. Eventually I got through sent photos of unpackaged item.
I wanted to change for a larger Rad, they said no I was out of time.
Ridiculous, I was even going to pay more for the bigger rad.
I would steer clear, any problems you wont get a refund or exchange as you have no one to contact.
I wouldnt recommend this company as if you need to change or return goods

A complete con. Avoid. They took payment, I selected a delivery date, no tracking provided, item didn’t arrive on due date, no item 1 month later and still chasing for a refund. No chance of actually speaking to anyone or getting a response through forms. Avoid at all costs. Snake oil salesmen.

I am still waiting for a radiator to be delivered a week on from requested delivery date and despite 3 online chases absolutely no response to my questions about when I can expect delivery. Dreadful customer service and have now requested a cancellation and refund. I will order from a decent company that values it's clients. Had I read some of these reviews I would absolutely never had touched this so called company. Live chat is useless so don't even bother trying. I run a business and have a contact number plus years in customer service have made me a decent communicator - need to get their act together or more poor reviews are a given.

Absolutely shocking company, avoid at all costs. Delivery date booked. Item did not arrive. 2 weeks later, still no radiator with no communication. Filled out form on the website several times and no response. Live chat is just a robot that refers you back to the website forms to fill out, regardless of what answers you supply, to which they don’t respond. I suspect cancelling my order and getting a refund will be impossible. Save yourself the hassle and buy from a reputable company.

Ordered a radiator on the 19th February, paid in full, email advising delivery would be the 23.2.2024 and absolutely nothing, chased every day this week no response no communication, required to handover a project will now need to source elsewhere and loose the money.

19.3.2024 further update, the company reached out after this review agreed to cancel the order on the 4.3.2024 and no refund received, absolute disgrace. The link to the contact form on website fails and there are no agents available on live chat!

I ordered a mirror from them and booked delivery for 27 February. The delivery date came and went without any sign of the mirror. I’ve emailed them through the contact form and got no reply. I can’t speak to anyone via the live chat. They’ve taken my money, are uncontactable and there’s no sign of my order. Wish I’d never bought from them.

I didn't receive my order after sending them 4 email had to open a claim for a refund. Still waiting.. very poor company. Also they lied about btu of the radiator as on other websites same radiator had less btu.. they are scammers

I placed an order online Monday the 19th Feb, all sorted quick & payment made, Had no booking email, Chased late last week & again several times this week only by email but never get any Replies!! tried the online chat but always says not working try again! No contact number to call them! Absolute Joke of a company!! probably not going to get the unit I ordered which was £360! I will be in touch with the main manufacturer of the unit concerned to see why they are supplying a company like this as doesn't look good on them when you cannot simply order what you want from one of their so called approved suppliers! I will try for a refund but probably wont get so will end up making this go Viral most definitely as I know many online influencers & social media experts! I could of potentially placed many future orders as I'm a trade customer but certainly wont now.

I wouldn’t even give one star. Two days off work and still no radiatior. the first date a £10 hook I ordered off them was delivered by their courier by no radiatior, so I messaged twice, had no reply only to receive an email with new delivery date. Stayed off work and again no radiatior came. I have messaged loads since, again no reply. Used live chat option only to be thrown out loads of times as it was timing out (no doubt many others complaining of the same issues). Finally got through to someone who said they would ask accounts to refund. I have no doubt I’ll be chasing that to happen too. Awful company. My bathroom fitters are in soon, I need the refund to source a new radiator by a company who can deliver,.
