I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with Allianz Online car insurance.
My renewal increased from £356.22 to £535.70, an increase of around 50%, despite having 11 years protected No Claims Discount, no claims, no convictions, and no obvious adverse change in my risk profile.
What makes this worse is that my renewal was for Allianz Online Bronze, which is a much weaker product than their higher-tier policies. When I checked alternatives, I found that LV= offered me a stronger Defaqto 5-star comprehensive policy with motor legal expenses for £541.56, only slightly more than Allianz wanted for the much weaker Bronze renewal.
Allianz Online Gold was quoted at £572.14, but even then the difference versus LV= was modest, and LV= appears to offer a better customer-service model, including the ability to speak to someone more easily by phone. Allianz Online feels heavily digital-first, with limited practical support when you want to discuss renewal pricing properly.
I fully accept that insurance prices can change, but a near-50% increase for a loyal, low-risk customer with a protected 11-year NCD feels excessive and poor value. I expected better from Allianz.
Based on this renewal experience, I cannot recommend Allianz Online to loyal customers expecting fair pricing or meaningful renewal support.

The application form is well laid out…
The application form is well laid out and the questions are clear and unambiguous. I also liked the range of options available which made my choices easier to make. One thing I did notice at the end of the application was my bank account last four numbers has since been replaced by a new 16 digit number after having had a new card. My existing monthly payments have continued to be paid so I assume that this will continue with the new card number. My bank account remains as it was. Please contact me if you require the new 16 digit number.

Not responding to any mail.
I have bought tickets for Andre Rieu concert earlier this year. Unfortunately I couldn't attend that concert and I wanted to refund those tickets, which were INSURED through Allianz.... There were no responds at all from Allianz and to be honest, I will never insure anything from Allianz if that's the way they treat their customers.
