This is the second bad review I’ve left on this clinics trustpilot the first got taken down for not meeting community standards when all I said was what the product was. Yes they do remove bad reviews which explains why they have a high rating but are so bad.
I decided to persevere after my last bad experience out of desperation to find something that would work however I am still having issues dealing with this clinic.
I had a an appointment booked for me over the phone as I wanted to speak with a consultant not a pharmacist because I’ve been having problem with my medication and the consultant didn’t even turn up. I mean what. They then phoned me 3 hours later whilst I was busy stating they could do the appointment then but I was not available. They then tried to call again an hour later whilst I was too busy to answer off a different phone number asking if I still want the appointment. I mean how unprofessional can you get.
I then get an email stating I missed the appointment and to book again. What you mean your consultant missed the appointment.
I also continued to get charged £10 per month after the procedure had changed to £5 per month and when raised in the call the advisor said she would get billing to look at this.
I had the price reduced to £5 per month but have had no refund on the months I paid the extra and shouldn’t have.
Every time I call I’m stuck on hold for at least half an hour. I try live chat and no one answers.
I am now trying to transfer to a new clinic and can’t do this in the online portal and can’t get through on the phone. I’ve currently been on hold again for nearly half an hour.
Beware of this clinic they have no level of support and only give you prescriptions you don’t want or need.
Finally just to add the medication I was prescribed, before I was prescribed I stated concerns surrounding my tolerance and the strength however was told anything weaker wouldn’t when I know that isn’t true from being with other clinics.
There is no level of after care with this company so they only work for people that aren’t bothered about what they get.
UPDATE 3/6/26: off the back of alternaleafs reply - I have tried to get in touch for further support multiple times but have not received any response so far or have my call or live chat answered as above.

Happy that I was prescribed by them but then the prescription was refused after being filled in erroneously by them. The website is of no use as it sends you to the sign-up page continuously and has not way to get past to contact them.

Honestly, its only the exhaustion caused by my condition that means I haven't moved elsewhere. I swear I'm done with them. Absolutely crazy.
This week, in stupid things Alternaleaf have done. Given me an Annual Review with a middle class prat of a doctor so clueless that the things he's written in a letter to MY GP are going to get me into trouble with the DWP at some point.
This, apparently, cannot be rectified until a far-off appointment at the end of JUNE. REALLY??? REALLY??? You've made it sound as if I can appear on Strictly, or single handedly renovate Notre Dame. Meanwhile, I am paying quite a lot of money for a decent level of pain relief... and although I am pleased with the results, it hasn't cured my arthritis and I will still feel like I fell down several flights of stairs the morning after I've done some physical activity.

There is plenty of stigma surrounding MC, and going through this process is actually something that I was a little apprehensive about at the beginning.

i was disappointed as my first prescription was strictly by doctor’s choice , i mentioned it to pharmacy also alternaleaf that i am not happy with the outcome of flowers precisely 60 g. but i was told that this particular flower has earthy smell and bitter taste. i am not unfamiliar with good quality cannabis that’s what made me disappointed that no one is bothered to listen to the patient. patient has to agree to both dr and pharmacy, no matter how bad i find the quality of flowers sent to me , i’ll have to be stuck with it

My experience with Alternaleaf has been excellent from start to finish. The consultation process was professional, communication was clear throughout, and any queries I had were dealt with promptly.
After submitting the requested medical records, my prescription was approved and dispensed via Montu quickly and efficiently. The medication arrived securely and exactly as prescribed.
My initial impression of the medication has been very positive. I was prescribed a thoughtful combination of cartridges tailored to different times of day, with products clearly labelled for daytime and nighttime use. The selection of strains feels well considered for a first prescription and has given me the opportunity to find what works best for me.

"You're better off going elsewhere."
My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. Since dealing with them, I’ve developed real anxiety.
They treat you like a child and expect you to just accept it. But if you try to make a simple request? They turn mean and completely uncooperative.
Here’s just a sample of what I went through:
· Clinicians not showing up – literally every single appointment I booked.
· Late callbacks – sometimes they'd call my mobile 40 minutes late. Other times, no callback at all, forcing me to rebook another appointment a week or so later.
· Prescription delays – when I finally got a script, it would arrive 3–4 days later (if I was lucky). And then the prescription was for a sold-out medication.
· Useless support agents – they just parrot a script with zero common sense. The pain of waiting, only to get nowhere, is exhausting.
Ahhhh, the anxiety every time I have to deal with these people. Their entire process feels like it was designed by an 8-year-old.
I’m now switching to Medicann. Do yourself a favour and skip the stress.
