Extremely Disappointing Experience – Proceed with Caution

I strongly advise against using this company. While the vehicle was ultimately delivered, the final cost far exceeded the original quote, with unexpected charges totaling several hundred dollars more. The broker's contract contained fine print allowing them to increase the price after securing your signature. Additionally, they provided the driver with a different invoice amount, leaving us in a position where the carrier refused to deliver the vehicle unless we paid the difference out of pocket.

At that point, the vehicle was already in another state, and we had no option but to comply—resulting in two separate payments: one to the broker and another unexpected fee to the carrier. The situation was highly stressful and felt deceptive.

The assigned carrier, Solo Liner LLC, was also difficult to deal with. Communication was unprofessional and at times outright rude, which only added to an already frustrating experience.

Furthermore, the broker had initially agreed to reimburse the additional payment via Zelle, promising the funds would be transferred the next business day. Unfortunately, that reimbursement never occurred, and follow-up attempts were ignored.

Overall, this was a deeply unpleasant and costly experience. I recommend looking elsewhere for more transparent and trustworthy service.

Ameri Auto is a broker & a terrible one at that. They'll quote you a low price initially without even having a carrier just to get you to sign an agreement. The agreement has all sorts of BS in it as a way of getting you stuck working with this unethical company. I was quoted $400 for shipping & given a pickup date but my car wasnt picked up. I got several excuses because they didn't have an actual carrier to move my vehicle. Once they found an actual carrier the price tripled. After some back-n-forth I eventually got my deposit back. Please be aware that this company will use terrible tactics to get you to sign an agreement with them. Dont do it.

After my post about their negligence;I got a call from Ameri Auto Transport stating that the driver is the one that extorted that extra $700 out of me. I made a contract with the adobe named company. Whatever driver they contacted for my vehicle his price was within the contract. If not so, I would have been told so.

This Ameri Auto thing is a total scam, l advice those who wants to work with them to use COD method because the first scam begins when they will tell you to pay the deposit and then later they will change the prices. These guys are all brokers who charges triples the mount you will be supposed to pay. Be careful of some good reviews that they buy people to post to maintain a good reputation. For those who will be rejected for there refund use Chargebacks if you have used credit cards. Choose wisely on those who wants to ship vehicles

Nightmare from start to finish. No contact 1-2 days prior to the car ship date. When I contacted shipper on the day of shipping, was told that the price increased from $950 to $2200. By the way, deposit DOES NOT go into the final cost of shipping. This is not my understanding of the word deposit. After waiting for DAYS, shipper finally came up with a driver that was willing to charge $1200. I had no choice since I already paid the deposit and was just minimizing damage at this point. Several last-minute changes were made by shipper prior to car pick-up. In the end, I just released my car as instructed because I had no idea why deals he was making and needed for this nightmare to be over. Car was scratched upon delivery. The driver yelled at me for not shipping in an enclosed container.
My only positive comment is that shipper was responsive most of the time.

SCAM - Bait and Switch. DO NOT USE Ameri Auto Transport. One Star Rating is too much. They quote a low price ($775), make you pay a $250 deposit and sign a contract. If you don't keep after them, no driver is scheduled. Then, when they finally get a driver, the price more than doubles!! He told me it would be $1850. My original contract said I was to pay $525 upon delivery - I was able to negotiate the $1850 down to $1100. Original delivery date was supposed to be around MARCH 28. After numerous calls and texts, and a new contract for way more money, it was finally delivered on APRIL 24.

Stay away tells you one price at delivery charged me 25 dollars more. Delayed pick up stating the driver didn’t have his insurance renewed yet. Like that’s my fault? Used his friend who quoted me one price and ask for more. He said that what he quoted for, no sense in arguing with him I just wanted my car. But making sure I leave a bad review for others to beware. Stillwell P picked up in GA delivered to FL. Check your records.

SCAM ALERT!!!!The worst car shipping company ever. False contracts with fake pick up dates. Refusal to refund deposit when contract no upheld on their end. DO NOT sign a contract with them. You can not get a full refund of deposit unless they cancel (which they will not do for any reason). Waited over a month for a pick up and the haggled for extra money on delivery. Please save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!!

I worked with Jason and he was amazing throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, helped me schedule the pickup with ease, and my car arrived on time without a single issue. I was nervous at first, but Ameri Auto Transport LLC really is the best car shipping company out there!

Do not give Ameri Auto Transport LLC is a scam company the take my money when make appointment to pickup my car the guy call me I give him $200 for a deposit he said is come to get it on Wednesday when I call him on Tuesday to make sure is coming he said I have to pay extra $500 plus my $200 deposit I told him I’m not gonna pay more than the price I was signe for $525 I give him $200 deposit I have $325 to give him the guy charge me extra $200 please do not used this company is a SCAMMER I was call me cash app I get my refund because ameri scam if the company get your money guys call you bank or cash app get your money back

Wow, If it sounds to good to be true it is. Contacted Ameri Auto Transport to Transport a truck to Florida from Pennsylvania, was quoted, i accepted the quote and paid the deposit. Never heard from them again, emailed and called them 24 hrs in advance of my scheduled pickup date, no driver had been assigned or scheduled. They called back within a few minutes and had a driver, but almost tripled the cost. ( bait and switch) I refused the cost and therefore lost my deposit because I canceled by not paying there higher rate. Hopefully this will help someone else not get taken advantage of. As a disabled veteran it hurts to lose money from a dishonest company.

BAIT & SWITCH!! Booked them to pick up a vehicle in Florida to be delivered to New York on Thursday April 3rd. Representative assured me it would be picked up the next day on April 4th, paid the $250 deposit and was told the transport would cost $700 and that would be paid directly to the driver on arrival. Next day comes, and was told the truck had “mechanical issues” and that another driver can be secured for $1100. Went back and forth with them until Sunday April 6th and was contacted by their “driver”. Who told us at that point we had to pay half by Zelle or PayPal Friends and Family. No No No, both of those platforms have no buyer protection. Meanwhile the rep from Ameri kept calling and calling to tell us not to discuss the price with the “driver”. After giving the “driver” $800 with PayPal goods and services to protect us, he assured us he would be there within an hour to pick up the vehicle. No surprise, he never showed up. Remember this is the driver assigned to us by Ameri. As of today, April 8th, no transport, no refund and had to file a claim with PayPal to get my $800 back. Ameri keeps calling to book us with another driver, but the price keeps going up, and at this point, I do not trust their “driver”. Read all the negative reviews here on this platform, it’s the same complaint over and over.

Beware they took my deposit. Promised that my vehicle will be picked up with agreed price. Brooker told me something happened to the original driver. New driver is asking for 50% more. Dont be victim. These people will get karma in their life.

Booked Thursdsy, confirmed Friday, was told that if I had any questions to call or message. No response Sat or Sunday
Finally spoke with rep Victoria on Monday when I called. Trucking company never called me to confirm. Victoria called back 3 hours later to tell me there were mechanical issues with driver. This is the day my car was supposed to be picked up. She was able to find someone who could pick up today for $1700, and someone who would do it for $1300 the following day. Original “contract” was signed for $810. Asked multiple times to have my deposit refunded. Turned me over to Jacob who is “a man of his word” and who told me he would find a driver the next day for $810 and pay the balance out of his pocket. Would find driver by 7 PM at 4 he started texting and calling me offering absurd quotes. What happened to 7 PM. He was then very rude telling me that he had other customers and when confronted with the fact that he was indeed offering the route to drivers for $1300 he suddenly wanted to cancel the contract. At this point I again requested my $200 deposit back. No he was cancelling and sending me to another broker, Victoria

This is the most sketch and scammer company I have ever worked with. Originally quoted me $700 to ship my car. They made me sign a contract and put a deposit down. The day my car had to ship it went up to $1,100. I was moving and had no other choice. When the driver arrived with my car they charged an extra $100 and would not release my car until I paid the full amount. I tried to contact ameri auto and they would not pick up my phone call or help.

DO NOT WORK WITH Jason. It’s not even his real name. He is rude, disrespectful, and untrustworthy.

Dear customer who wants use this company, I recommend not to use this company. they always Lie Lie Lie. If you want to transfer your cars use different broker company that understand and good management. They made contract with different prices and then they gonna made different contract with car-haulers. There are always conflict between car-haulers and customers. Please be aware of this company FAKE COMPANY!!!!! SCAM!!!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Ameri Auto Transport completely scammed my family and me.

My contract clearly stated that my vehicles would be picked up on 3/3/2025 and delivered by 3/6/2025. Today is March 7, and my vehicles still haven’t been picked up. When I finally demanded to cancel the contract, Patrick miraculously called back—only to tell me that he couldn’t cancel it while also attempting to double the original price.

This company failed to uphold their contract, yet refused to refund my money. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank.

The information you provided is completely incorrect, further proving how incompetent this so-called “company” is. Only one of the three vehicles has been shipped, not all. Your representative, Patrick, attempted to increase our contract from $575 per vehicle to $1,200 per vehicle—more than double the agreed-upon price.

Given this blatant attempt at price gouging and failure to fulfill the contract, we have rightfully canceled. And yes, please proceed with the full refund—we have no interest in doing business with a company that operates like yours.

This company is sketchy and will force you to ship with them. They will not take your agreed upon price and if you try to cancel will keep the listing on the central board dispatched service for drivers.
Do not give them your money.
