Ordered twice and only had issues with the delivery which is not their fault. Lots of items. Best before dates clearly on the listings. Everything well packed and shipped quickly. Would be next day delivery if FedEx did their jobs properly. Would definitely order again.

A fabulous customer experience! Ordered 24 x of a clearance item, quite a heavy box as it was 'American pickles', arrived beautifully & safely wrapped 2 days later via DPD. Item is pristine and exactly as described. I have now bookmarked the web site as I'll definitely be back

Really well packed! Everything arrived safely! I ordered fragile cakes and drinks in glass bottles and it was perfectly and safely packed. The customer service was AMAZING! I'm leaving this review because I'd ordered similar things from a different site and the experience was awful so had to order from a different site, my boy is autistic and didn't understand that he couldn't try his new treats so I found American Fizz.THANK YOU! I highly recommend. AHappy Customer and one very happy boy!

American Fizz have a great range of US products for those who miss them. However, the operation is let down by poor customer service that do not listen to the customer to establish what remedy they are seeking and take a long time to take action.

I took advantage of one of their email promotions of all their unsold, out of date products, for heavily discounted prices.
Order was sent out in 2 separate parcels to which I wasn't aware. One parcel was the non perishable of crisps and sweets and the other was made up of liquids.
Little did I know that this parcel was dropped/mishandled/damaged by DPD at their depot and was left for over 2 weeks stagnating before they decided to deliver.
It arrived wet, soaked and damaged. Covered with DPD tape to keep the box intact and the contents from spilling out.
Driver arrives and I say to them what's going on with the box? I just deliver he states but I'll take some pictures for both our references.
I open this box on my kitchen floor and all the cans are either empty or half full because it looks like the entire box has been crushed. Now there's liquid spilling onto my kitchen floor and frustrated is an understatement. I take the entire box and throw it in our communal bin and decide to take it up with American Fizz.
Here's where the unprofessionalism and total lack of customer support rears its ugly head to unprecedented levels.
Thanks for the pictures I'll start the compensation with DPD immediately.
Week later I'm having to open up the channels of communication because American Fizz has failed to respond.
Yeah, you accepted the parcel so we're washing out hands of it and the responsibility now falls on your shoulders.
I sent you the pictures, I explained the parcel was delayed by 2 weeks and DPD have let YOU guys down so you need to put in a claim please.
If food and/or liquids have perished and have been laying in a warehouse for 2 weeks to rot then there's serious health and safety concerns don't you think?
Yes, but you shouldn't have accepted the parcel so now we honestly don't care and there's nothing else we can do for you. We're not going to put in a claim. We're not sorry for the delay or upset caused. We won't offer any means of compensation, nor refund, nor store credit and/or replacements.
I know we said one thing and then changed our tune and then said something completely different, but honestly you did us a favour by accepting the parcel and responsibilities became yours. Did you not understand the rules of online shopping? If we can get the customer to accept the parcel then we are under no obligations to assist you guys any further.
I have no choice put to put in a PayPal dispute and guess what American Fizz do...?
They drag their heels in every single step of the process and have made this somehow personal.
This is an accident that's happened somehow through the courier system. This accident happened sometime during collection at American Fizz depot and drop-off at the DPD depot, but it now becomes my responsibility according to the world of the lackluster customer service representative at American Fizz.
It appears by reading some of the negative reviews on TrustPilot that other customers have had their difficulties too.

Used to be good but recently my orders have been cancelled without notification or I have pending payments for items that haven't gone through, shame really. Edited as they took payment now have to dispute with my bank.

The best USA retailer in the UK. Great range. Always lots of root beer! Always quick delivery and well packaged. The website is a bit clunky and slow to load but it's a small issue . They are great!

I was sceptical at first after reading the negative reviews but don’t let them put you off. I placed an order on Monday and it turned up today Saturday 23/11/24. All in dated products except the ones I ordered which I knew were slightly past their date but fantastic service. Great variety of stock and also very reasonably priced, I will be buying from these again. A* service

Have used American Fizz since moving here over 11 years ago. When I first started using them, they were great. Last few orders I noticed the use by date was fast approaching. Also many times I’ve tried to order things as soon as I receive the email stating it’s back in stock only to receive a message saying it’s not in stock! The new website is totally useless!!! Time to find a new company.

My mum recently ordered some things off the website and it came today. As we (including my baby sister) were trying some things, it turns out everything we got was between 1-3 years out of date. They didn't even bother to say it was out of date. I get maybe a few days out of date but a few years is pretty gross so we won't be eating anything. Plus, the jelly belly cherry drink bottle was deflated so we won't be buying anything anytime soon

I ordered some bits for xmas. Three of them turned up with very short dates 1 1st Oct, 1 1st Nov and 1 1st Dec, 1 item was also completely wrong. These were all christmas gifts! When I messaged the lady was unhelpful and abrupt saying the only thing she would refund was the one that went off in October. She said if they were gifts I should have let them know?? how odd that all of their xmas produce is out of date as she went to check on my wrong item and came back to say the correct one would also be out of date before xmas. Clearly last years stock! There are plenty of other companies offering US items, avoid this one at all costs! I've lost out on about £12.00 as she refused to refund the xmas gifts just said I could return at my own cost even though its not my fault!

I order every month from them and I've had a few problems but they have sorted it out no problems if u have trouble getting in touch with them do what I do wait till they are live on tiktok and the girl is very helpful and gets someone to contact u and most items are past sell buy dates and that's why they are so cheap

This store does not seem right to me. I need to buy 30 pieces of one product from their store, but it's been 5 days since I emailed them asking if they provide invoices to their customers. I only asked them this, but they are not responding and are not answering calls either."

Wish I had read reviews before ordering from this site. Ordered condiments first week august received a bottle with Aug 24 expiry, emailed customer service who were useless and have not responded to my follow up email. Their policy for short dated goods are that the manufacturer advises against consuming products after the expiry but there’s nothing wrong with it.
Terrible customer service and a lottery if your goods will turn up with a decent amount of time before expiry

I'm an American living in the UK and didn't realize how many comfort foods I'd miss until I couldn't have them anymore. Unfortunately there aren't suitable replacements for many of my favorites in the UK, but luckily AmericanFizz carries most of them year round, and have reasonable prices for the most part compared to other snack retailers. Packaging is always on point. Tons of bubble wrap, fragile things get put inside their own box within the larger box, I haven't had anything crushed or damaged in the 3 or 4 orders I've had so far. And shipping is free after £50 so it's much appreciated! This most recent order was placed on a Saturday and arrived Tuesday morning. Can't complain! My other orders arrived quickly as well, but not THAT quickly lol. I'm happy to recommend AmericanFizz based on price, availability of actual American snacks (not just a few mixed in with UK/Canadian goods like other retailers...) and speed of delivery. This is not a sponsored review, I'm just really happy that I can easily get my comfort snacks without having to pay a fortune and have had good consistent service from this company, and saw a few negative reviews so I thought I'd put my experience out there.
