I have ordered from APC PURE before and…

I have ordered from APC PURE before and I have no complaints. I had run out of a product and called in a state of panic on 27/7/21. I spoke to Shakeela. The product which I wanted, there was one in stock in the warehouse. When I explained to her how important this product was to me. She went over and above her duties and made sure that the product was located and delivered to my address... as promised within 48 hours... the delivery arrived on 30/7/21.
The service I received from Shakeela was outstanding...She was very helpful and is a real credit to the company...

Beware
Be very careful about using this company APC pure - they take you money - have stock listed on line but not in the warehouse - They do not answer emails - or their customer service line and put the phone down when you start discussing further action

Good Products, Worst Customer Service Ever

I would like to state that the products that I ordered have all been working perfectly and fulfilling their purpose. I would recommend if you need sensitive items that APC Pure offer and you have the patience and time to receive the order.

My first issue came when I received my order there was an item missing, and there were certain containers that weren't as pictured. In an attempt to find out where my other item was and to query about my new unwanted containers, I emailed to get an answer. Bear in mind I had left it a week or so, just in case the other item was 'held up' or lost in the mail. I could understand because we were all going through a tough COVID-19 experience, so I was more than happy to not be fussy.
I was told to wait for processing for the missing item; which I did and after a few weeks it was all sorted.

But for the containers; the situation became unbearable. I'd requested to get a replacement but I was told it was out of stock. I figured since a few weeks had passed without me getting my missing item, it would be back in stock, and hoped they would pack it into the same package.
At the time I had been emailing back and forth with 'Shakeela', so I knew they knew my unhappiness with the new containers.

Long story short I make a complaint about how the bottles tend to leak, in then hearing/reading this, they would discredit, dismiss and argue with me. Their rebuttal was that they had never received any issues beforehand. As if to say me giving my complaint was not enough of an issue.

I wasn't going to put a review but I decided to visit Trustpilot and see what the census was here. In seeing how many one stars and low ratings there were I decided to add in my experience.

1)I understood 100% the worldwide pandemic, like everyone else. I didn’t like the blatant disregard to my bringing up an issue you had with your product. To alert you of a problem that me, your customer experienced; which was all I wanted.
2) Once again here you are arguing about my genuine complain months later, for what reason?
3)At this point you may as well not have replied. The “free” item you sent me was something I’d ordered that never came. Not once did you ever claim to replace a single thing.

This has become one of the worst experiences of customer service I’ve had to date, so thank you for that.

We have now had a chance to review your comments, and the internal email trail relating to this.
I think in hindsight whilst we did correspond with you in detail on this matter, during the pandemic bottle stock in UK became very tight due to hand sanitisers etc, and so we introduced new bottles to fulfil our customers requirements.
Perhaps in the early days we did not know those bottles very well and in some instances the caps or accessories may have had slight issues that caused minor leaks.
Now all resolved and bottles stock back to normal availability, and I note we replaced one product for you free of charge, and i also note we did offer to collect your order and refund/replace.
Perhaps our best was not to your standard on this occasion and we apologise for that, and we thank you for your acknowledgement of product quality in the first paragraph of your comments.
We also do our very best to fulfil customers orders right first time and to give customer service

Dreadful customer relations

Dreadful customer relations. I had ordered 5 litres of hydrogen peroxide then realised I'd already bought some from a c pure several months ago which I'd stored away because of the pandemic. As soon as I ordered my wife told me & I immediately rang a c pure over & over to cancel but all I got was an automated response saying choose 1 or 2 to speak to the relevant person, but with no response. Had they answered I would've been able to cancel immediately, so I had to email, got no response so I emailed again and then I was told if I wanted to return the h202 I'd have to do so at my own expense.... Its heavy!!! So I emailed again to say it wasn't my fault they didn't respond to my calls and that they should've had a message to say they weren't answering the phone instead of giving options which didn't exist. Therefore they should bear the cost of return... I explained several. Times but they refused, despite the fault being theirs..... I shallnt be ordering from them again.

We obviously don't doubt you attempted to call us but can not clarify date and time at this point, whilst we do now have a significantly bigger Ecom Team to allow us to cope with higher levels of demand, I think this boils down to a timing issue more than anything else, as we only ship orders received in good faith.

A horrible company

I ordered two biological stains, some slides and some coverslips. Postage was dreadful at nearly £10, but my normal supplier did not have all items in stock. Dispatch same day if ordered by 2pm clearly stated on the web site. Ordered wednesday evening, dispatched the following monday. Very very poor. Tried to deliver tuesday, but I was at the dentists. Rang the courier, not allowed to collect from the depot (only four miles away), told to ring 8:30 am the next day for the redelivery time. Rang the next day, and the two hour time slot overlapped with my skating lesson so I might not have been at home. Asked them to leave it in a safe place. No can do. I had to ring APCPURE and ask them to arrange for it to be left in my porch. It took countless calls over more than an hour to eventually speak to someone at APCPURE, and ask them to arrange for the parcel to be left in my porch. In the end the parcel arrived a few minutes before I had to go out. This was a horrible experience.

APCPURE made dishonest claims about next day delivery. The shipping cost a fortune. The courier was poor. And getting through to APCPURE on the phone is not easy. And I have had not a word of apology. This company does not give a damn.

Totally unprofessional. Horrible horrible company. Avoid.

I note your comments re website claims and in November 2020 we updated our website to include additional information that clarified shipping times, I appreciate it does not help you in respect of your delay however it no longer makes any guarantees, and provides extra information to allow our customers to make an informed buying decision.
Unfortunately we cant comment specifically on your comments re customer service, but happy to confirm our Ecom Customer Service has now been expanded substantially with extra team members which allows us to cope with the much increased level of customer enquiries we get everyday
Lastly in relation to courier charges, we only charge what we get charged and it is clearly stated at point of check out, again for the customer to decide if they are happy to pay that amount based on the service level they require.
Again apologies for the fact you did not feel you received our usual level of service as recognised by the many thousands of returning customers every year

Failed to deliver items after informing…

Failed to deliver items after informing courier to leave in safe place, as all couriers are doing in this Covid era.

After carding called courier and arranged for item to be left with neighbor who is always around - they agreed then came the following day and just carded me again.

Item returned to sender and sender refused to issue refund for postage saying they had to pay for the courier to attempt delivery.

This was messed up by their contractor (APC) and by law they are obliged to give a full refund for items that are returned to them within 30 days.

I had to take it through ebay to get my money back.

Really sorry you feel you had a bad experience, unfortunately we can not leave hazardous products or high value products safe, even in the covid era.
Our standard practise is if two delivery attempts are made and item is returned to us, then the costs of the delivery is deducted from any refund, as you mention above because we have incurred the cost of said delivery.
This sits comfortably and legally within the distance selling regulations as it is assumed by us that when a courier order that requires a signature is made, the customer understand they will need to be available to sign for the parcel

Communication Could Be better

I have completed several orders with APC and have been very happy with the quality of the goods and the dispatch and delivery service. I have however been waiting a considerable number of weeks for a reply to a query that needed referring to the 'owner' and still no contact...

Avoid this company

Ordered rubbing alcohol from eBay but had no delivery or communication from them. Cancelled my order and now I'm getting sales emails from then asking to buy other products they have made up with the rubbing alcohol they should have sent me!
Not interested anymore and to be honest I feel they are taking advantage of the current situation to hike up their sales
Not an ethical company in my opinion and if you decide to buy from them, you may or may not get the product you ordered.

During the Covid19 Panic Buying of IPA based products, we received 19000+ orders in 5 days, we have since shipped 17,700+ of those orders. We also received over 200,000 emails and whilst we could not reply to them all we have sent 50,000 emails out communicating with customers as best we could. Lastly we have not increased our prices other than by direct cost increases to ourselves, in fact we have been actively offering products at pre Covid 19 prices to work against profiteers in the market place - so happy we have done our very best under unique circumstances

If I could rate a zero I would

Ordered on 02/03/20

If I could rate a zero I would. The only confirmation I received from APC/APC Overnight was a VAT invoice & tracking link upon order.

I used the link to stay up to date with the delivery, however when nothing arrived and the tracking link said delivery attempted, I called APC. APC advised delivery had been attempted (my door did not ring, no cards/notifying delivery attempt we left etc).

I asked for the next available delivery but as I would be returning to work, asked that the delivery be signed for by my next door neighbour. Once again, the same issue (my neighbours door did not ring, no card was left, no text, email or any other form of communication from APC that delivery was attempted).

At this point the products were returned to sender. For this Mary go round, I’ve been charged £12 and they insist that if I would like the products “redelivered” I must pay a further £12 delivery charge.

I suppose at this rate, there’s no need to sell any products if you’re extorting that much from delivery alone. I have requested to be signposted to their complaints procedure or be offered a final response so I can take to the ombudsman.

I wouldn’t recommend this service.

I cant check your specific order from the information in this review, however the information you have provided means your order was shipped by a tracked service. The delivery would have been attempted, a card left and when no communication was received, it would have been returned to us by the couriers. Your order wld have then been refunded less the costs of delivery, which we had paid out for... and is only right an proper... if you think any different then please contact us and we will happily look into it in specific detail. So I think it certainly seems we have done everything we can to get your order to you.....

Reputable company

I ordered hand sanitiser at the height of the COVID-19 disruption and received it within 3 days. This is an honest and professional company doing their very best to satisfy a sudden and huge demand for their products. Some people have been so unreasonable in their criticism. I ordered a 5l tub of isopropyl alcohol through eBay at the begining of the Corona virus scare. It didn't arrive and I suspected the seller had run out it had hiked the price. However apcpure emailed and assured me they would get the product to me as soon as stock arrived. I was assured several times and true to their word I received the product some time later.
Really really pleased they kept their word and didn't take the opportunity to make a quick buck. Honesty and integrity is a great virtue in business

I must admit when I ordered and it didn't arrive I was concerned that I wasn't going to get my order BUT I held off from asking for my money back/opening a case etc because at that time I was running short and hoped that it would come. Received a generic e-mail outlining the problem ok fair enough wait again. BUT there was an awful lot of hysteria surrounding these e-mails and many people saying they were scams etc etc. I decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt and I am glad that I did. Its the first time that I have used them and if they are still there when we get out of this mess then I will use them again. Its companies like this that will need peoples support when this is all over.

Great work

The more emails and queries they answer, the less orders they can process. A lot of their staff have had to self isolate meaning even more pressure. Please be patient and understanding before leaving bad reviews. While many of you are sat at home complaining, they are working harder than ever.
