A Place Like Home Ltd Reviews 

We spent 2 and a half weeks at Blithfield Street and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The house was very functional and equipped with everything needed; and very nicely decorated and presented. Especially enjoyed the two patio areas with colourful wisteria growing in the courtyard. The location is also a winner - close to a great pub, as well as several small shops and cafes just around the corner. A 10 min walk to High Street Kensington and nearby buses also makes for a convenient location. We found the management company, and Nick's team, very responsive to anything we needed. A wonderful spot - thank you.

Nick was very helpful and the instructions were clear and entering and leaving the property all went seamlessly.

We have used APLH several times over the years for short term (vacation) rentals in London. We have found them to be reliable, communicative and easy to work with. The apartment photos and descriptions on the website are accurate in our experience. We will not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

This was a great flat for a family of four (plus grandma!). Really excellent location...Kensington gardens and the big Diana playground right across the street and very convenient access to two nearby Tube lines as well as bus routes as well. There are also several places to eat very close by (both family friendly and more couples oriented) as well as grocery stores and pharmacies just steps away. The place was very clean and comfy and the Master bedroom was incredibly roomy. Having a washer/dryer was wonderful and A Place Like Home made the check in and check out process super easy and convenient. Having a separate WC and shower room as well as a master bath was also a great bonus. We would 100% stay here again and definitely recommend this flat as great value!

From start to finish my experience with A Place Like Home was positive. I worked with Nick throughout the process, and he was extremely helpful and always available. I would put the rental at the top of my list of vacation rentals.

Communication was easy, quick efficient……..our home was perfectly located….clean….comfortable……Nick arranged flawless airport transport…….some simple improvements would be a couple folding luggage racks..
..ability to make third floor a little less warm

Over ten years ago, we chose "a Place Like Home" apartment in South Kensington, and it was great option, full of memories.
Now we´ve chosen them again, same location, and one again, it was the best option in London.

Nick was very quick to respond and assist with any questions or things we needed. The flat was clean and in the BEST location. 3 flights of stairs to go up if that is an issue but wasn’t for us. Only one shower as second bathroom only has a tub. Loved the space and would definitely stay again.

Another great experience with APLH. They were most helpful in accommodating our requested arrival time and promptly fixed a small mechanical issue. The flat was impeccably clean. Linen change was quick and friendly. Our thanks to Nick and the team!

I would highly recommend staying here! A place like home were extremely attentive, there was a cleaning crew that came once a week to change linen and replace bin bags etc. Nick was also super responsive with emails and helpful with check in. The actual apartment was super spacious and had every amenity we needed. The location was also great, a short walk from Hyde park!!

The Place Like Home people were great to work with in the lead up to the rental and while we were there. They personalized the experience of selecting a rental unit and were very upfront about what would be a fit for what we needed. Then they were very responsive when there were a few issues with the heating controls and lighting. I had a very good experience with them, and I enjoyed my renting experience.

Communication was more responsive than proactive but replies were always polite and quick. Some quirks at check in (heat not working, windows left open) were frustrating considering we booked and paid for an additional day to guarantee ease around our travel. That flat itself was in a great location but a bit run down and outdated.

Nick at A Place Like Home was a pleasure to work with. The property he suggested was perfect for our vacation and we had a great trip. It was well maintained and clean, very well located. Nick answered all our questions promptly and gave helpful advice. We'd definitely book a stay through the agency again! We'd gladly book the same property again!

I have been booking holiday flats with A Place like Home for over 20 years and never been disappointed with the location and quality of the accommodations . They also make great recommendations based on where and what type of area you want to be based. They always have a greeter who gives you the keys and info personally and if you need transportation they can help with arrangements. Nick is the best . He will respond quickly to your inquiries and answer any questions you may have.

Every associate went out of his/her way to give us a memorable experience. We love the property (Blithfield), have stayed there before & plan to return very soon! Great location, well cared for flat. Thanks to all!

The flat lived up to it's description and expectation. The staff were prompt and helpful. My family and I enjoyed a delightful 2 weeks in London.

Super clean, great guidebooks for the area, located close to every type of food imaginable, including out-of-the-way cozy pubs. Large unit with plenty of room for everyone and living room to get together and relax in, big dining room table.

As usual, the service is excellent, although the cleaning services was not upto standard. Everything else was as expected. Property is very nice and comfortable, let alone the amazing location
