What I really, really like about the company is that, although my tunnels are 6mm ( small compaired to others 😥) there is still plenty of pretty choices to be had 😁. I have recommended Arka to friends.

Jewellery has gone down in quality. I've been buying earrings from arka for at least 10 years now. My old earrings were wooden and beautifully carved, and still get comments. These new ones are cheaply made and don't stay on. The clasps are dysfunctional. The previous peg designs were way better and stable. I hate to give arka a bad review, as I've loved their stuff for ages, and have been recommending them and giving out the website to anyone who comments on my earrings (beautiful carved tribal wing designs, all wood - no longer available on the site). Sadly I can't recommend them any more.

Edit: I have downgraded the review further after the snarky response from the shop. A) I did not know I was entitled to a refund (how about politely suggesting that? Also, will you cover the shipping to get the earrings back to you, or will you just refund directly? I would have been mollified by that, and changed my review accordingly). B) your explanation of the clasp issue underscores that it is a bad design: why continue using a design whereby the weight of the earrings or "normal wear" will cause it to come undone, and risk losing the earring? Also, C) yes, I did try re-bending them, and - as you say - it continues to get bent out of shape every time you handle the earrings, and they fall out (every time I have tried to wear them). I have given up at this "fix" that is not fix. It is frustrating and not functional. The previous designs were much better. Oh, and D) you might be using the same people, but the design quality is poorer - case in point, clasps that do not stay in. My earlier 9 pairs of earrings that I have never come out. I love them so much. You do not sell them any more. You only sell these defective brass clamp ones in similar styles. So yes, the quality of the design has gone down. Happy to discuss further. Would have appreciated a polite education about the refund policy, rather than the snarky and (not so) passive aggressive response.

STILL haven't received the order and have been told that I will not get a refund until the items are returned. Australia Post have no tracking, which indicates the parcel has not reached the country.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase from this jewelry store - the quality of the jewelry and the smooth delivery were both top-notch.

I have shopped with Arka for many many years and bought lots of jewelry and in that time I have had 1 Pair tinge. I sent them an email about it and they got back to asked me to send them back and with in a week I had a new pair through my door.
