Amazing 7th Birthday experience
We celebrated our daughter 7th Birthday in Art-K Highams Park and thoroughly enjoyed the day! The party leader Sian was truly wonderful and very attentive to details and to all individual needs. The atmosphere was fantastic and she played my daughter’s favourite songs and I saw her face was lightened up and smiling when she recognised the songs! Inside the studio is cosy and warm environment with inspiring pictures on the walls and everywhere.

Lucy and the team were incredibly professional and great with the children (year one age). Daughter loves art class
My daughter has attended an art class here for around 8 months and she absolutely loves it. She has a great time exploring different styles, textures and techniques lead by experienced, friendly teachers, and always comes away with a brilliant piece of artwork. I have no doubt my daughter will continue here for a long time to come

My daughter has been attending classes at the highams park location since she was six - she's now eight. She absolutely loves it and has brought home some fantastic pieces of art in her time there. Kylie and the team are so encouraging and my daughter really benefits from having the time to be artistic and learn new techniques.

Extra curricular activities and additional learning
My daughter joined some art classes to help with her GCSE programme. She really enjoyed herself and gained valuable additional silks and knowledge. The staff were incredibly supportive and provided excellent feedback

Fantastic birthday party for our 9 year old daughter
Our daughter, Lucy, is very keen on arts and crafts and wanted to do something creative for her birthday party. Art-K is local to us, and after a brief enquiry (which was easy to make online), we arranged her birthday party for her and ten guests. Lucy and her friends had a fantastic time drawing, painting, and learning hints and tips from the teacher, Sian. It was well-organised and structured, and I would thoroughly recommend it to other parents whose children have similar interests. Thank you, everyone!

Great art class
My daughter won a holiday art class in a raffle. She was apprehensive when we got there as she was the oldest child. However she loved the experience as the projects were geared towards the children’s ages and abilities.
Would recommend, hopefully she will be able to attend another class in the future!

Lovely local art class
Lovely local art class, my son loves the experience and looks forward to it every week. He's been very inspired and loves to practice in between lessons. Booking system also really easy to use and very flexible with opportunities to do make up classes if you can't make a date.

Art classes for all levels
I enjoy the adult classes very much—we learn different techniques, and the time goes by too quickly! Kylie is a lovely teacher who encourages and allows you to work at your own pace, and explore ideas you may have.

Art-K Highams Park is truly excellent
My daughter has been attending Art K Highams Park for almost three years now and I couldn’t be happier about how she has progressed, and the work that she produces, which is genuinely heads and shoulders above anything she has done in any other setting.
She finds the environment peaceful and really conducive to working at her own pace and immersing herself in what she’s doing. She’s always really keen to get to her class and has felt so proud of herself and her work whenever she’s brought something home.
I must say, things do take quite a while to finish, but I see that as a really good thing, as I know she is concentrating on making them as good as they can be!
The range of media that she has tried at Art-K has been varied and exciting, worlds apart from what they have on offer in school.
There are plenty of opportunities to exhibit and show work at the end of class and at the end of term, where the kids get served kid’s bubbly in flute glasses and can review their peers’ work and compliment it with little cards and encouraging phrases.
Thank you to Kylie and the team for your guidance, patience and hard work. We love Art-K!

Her Van Gogh inspired canvas is nearly finished and it is looking so amazing especially since she added extra impasto brushstroke to the sky in the last session.
I mentioned to her that I saw the original at the National Gallery in the Poets and Lovers Vincent Van Gogh exhibition and that it is usually displayed in the Courtauld - Perhaps you can go to see it together once the exhibition is over and it's back in it's usual home.

Wow! My daughter loves these sessions
My daughter has been doing art sessions for two terms now and she absolutely adores it. She had always loved art but I never realised just how much until she started these lessons. The teachers are so encouraging of her and give her so much one to one attention that her creativity and joy for art are flourishing. It is the highlight of her week especially as she finds a lot of school subjects a bit boring! She will be carrying on with these classes for as long as she can now. I see such a change in her since she started them.
