Unfair refund policy - got USD 19.99 partial refund, thank's
I have just started to subscribe the model and writing assistance, it cost a total of USD 99.98. However, upon directly using it for a few activities in few hours, it seems that I do not feel comfortable using them, so I decided to cancel my subscription directly.
First the menu for cancellation is not available. Have to contact the support. After sending email, they responded by saying that the subscription is cancelled.
However they said that I cannot ask for a refund because according to their refund policy refunds are not issued for the following reasons:
- Accidental purchase (you did not expect to be charged, the trial converting into a subscription, automatic renewal, or the fact that the services are paid, etc),
- Change of mind,
- Disliking the product without clear evidence of major technical issues preventing its use.
To my opinion the term is unfair. The practice is not commonly used as compare to other suppliers who allow customer to do trial and accept cancellation plus refund within certain period of time.
Although I do remember that before I bought it I saw similar possible cancellation term exist, apparently it is not the case.
I believe I am not the only customer who feels disappointed with askgpt.
Additional note: Had been contacted by Trustpilot to supply more info'. After that I received partial refund, amounted USD 19.99 for model subscription, from the total USD 99.98. Thank you.

Delete account without failsafe and run away with your money... Just had a renewal payment for a year, clicked on the link to get to my account. I wanted to check my account and could not find it. Clicked delete instead (my mistake) however, due to that step (1 click only! no "are you sure") I lost my profile and oops the money that went with it! No refund as my account disappeared. Reached to customer to have even partial refund. NO... they wrote the steps that I need to cancel, not delete.

Got an email with full refund. Awaiting that it materialize in my CC. I will update my experience at the end of the process.
