Excellent Service

Delivery poor and wrong order received

Delivery company used very poor said tried to deliver and didn’t even said left card and didn’t then supposedly ran out of time. Having stayed in 8am -6pm for 3 days. I phoned your depot someone was to phone back but didn’t. After all that the order was wrong. I ordered 21x21mm x2.4 m received 21x11 mm x2.4m . Messaged company saying it was time critical needed resolved no reply

We use an external courier to deliver nationwide and most of the time they offer an exceptional service. Unfortunately, on this occasion, they failed to do so and we have raised this with them. We're also sorry you received the wrong product, which we can only put down to a genuine picking error. A member of our team has spoken to you and we are aware that you have been able to use the product, instead of requiring a replacement, so we have arranged a refund of the delivery charge and the difference in the cost of the material. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss this further.

Overall good, but with some damage

We ordered a fairly large collection of different wood from this company, 95% of which was fine and in good quality. The ordering process was great and delivery was prompt. The delivery driver was a bit lazy and wouldn’t call it kerb side delivery, but we managed and that isn’t really a comment about Atlantic Timber!

My reason for 4 stars is that despite 95% of the boards being in good quality, at least 5-6 of the battens had damage, two of which were quite severe meaning we couldn’t use those planks.

We check all our of products for quality before they leave our warehouse so it is likely that the damage occurred during delivery.
