Company provides so much healing through their content. It's helped me through hard times and the value you get is so much more than their subscription price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an easy, effective way to manage and improve their mental health.

This app has been incredibly helpful. While I’ve seen some negative reviews, my personal experience with their customer service has been nothing but positive—efficient, prompt, and courteous. The app itself is feature-rich, offering a wide range of tools for various needs. I use it daily for sleep meditations, relaxing music, and calming soundscapes.
At one point, I was mistakenly charged for a family plan, but after reaching out, I received an immediate refund with no hassle. I was genuinely impressed by how smoothly it was handled.
Overall, I truly love this app—it’s made a noticeable difference in my mental well-being. Highly recommended!

I don't remember downloading this app at all...but it's entirely possible since I do DL a lot of apps to go thru & find the one I want.
However, I am 100% positive that I never signed up for a subscription with Aura Health...so WHY does my bank acct show a $69.99 charge from AH?🤔 My Apple subs list shows that not only am I not currently subscribed...but I've NEVER been subscribed to Aura at all! It doesn't exist on my sub list.
Also, this was charged to MY debit card, the one we don't use. We only use my husband's card online~to prevent fraud showing up on both cards at the same time. That'd leave us stuck with no debit card while waiting for 2 new ones in the mail!
I am absolutely furious! Every time either of us gets a new debit card, it's not long before some random fraud charges show up! WTF?!? We just got new cards a few months ago...this cycle of "fraud on acct--we get new cards--repeat" is completely UNacceptable!!!
Now we have this fraudulent Aura Health charge on my card...along with 6mos of fraudulent charges on my husband's card from a well-known scammer company~ Total Adblock! (we already had fraudulent charges from them in the past & reported them to our bank...now they're back!?!?!) So we'll be without a debit card once again.😖 Super frustrating...& illegal! HOW do they keep getting away with this???
Please be cautious about even downloading this app. Looks like I'm just one of many who've had fraudulent charges from AH.

I bought a week's trial via Instagram for £2.00 but my bank called me within minutes to say that AURA had tried to take £52.83 from my account with forecast renewal of the same amount to be taken each month. Card now been blocked. Please avoid at all costs. It is a SCAM.

The annual fee of $70 is justified as AuraHealth helps those in need and PTSD victims for free in a timelapse.
Aurahealth charged me $69.99, just like other people on this site who left negative reviews. I contacted their support: they notify 30 days in advance by email, and I had not seen nor been reminded of this email. I explained my situation calmly. Among those working at AuraHealth, there are people of value and not just focused on money, as they refunded me via PayPal and revoked my access. Yet these actions do require some "effort."
This approach has become rare and precious. It deserves to be mentioned and the company valued thanks to this person. And it would be consistent with Aura Health's ethics if we all received the same treatment.

The app is beautiful and well-designed. Smooth to scroll and simple, operating with tiles.
You discover a community of coaches dedicated to relaxation.

I’ve been using this app for few months, and I find it extremely helpful. It’s unfortunate to see so many negative reviews that seem to stem from user error—like forgetting to cancel a subscription—and then blaming the app. Meditation isn’t a quick fix; it takes time and consistency to really understand and benefit from it.
I started with the 7-day trial and decided to go for the annual plan. So far, so good. While it’s a paid app, I feel the price is fair for the value it provides. That said, I almost didn’t notice the payment terms—I think they could be more clearly highlighted, especially for people who tend to click through quickly. I also tend to close in-app notifications, so it would be helpful to send reminders via email as well.
I had a small issue with logging in and my annual plan, so I reached out to customer support. I received help within the timeframe promised in the auto-reply, which I appreciated. A live chat option in the future would be even better, but email support worked just fine.
Mindfulness has played a huge role in my healing, and this app has been a key part of that journey. Please be mindful of how you share your experiences—what may not work for one person could truly change another’s life, like it did for me.

I decided to delete my account as I wasn’t using it much. After deleting it, they kept trying to charge my credit card for the yearly subscription! I decided to reach out to customer services who with a condescending tone explained that removing the app OR deleting my account doesn’t cancel the subscription. First of all I work in tech and know how it works, removing an app obviously doesn’t do anything. But trying to charge after deleting my account? This is illegal and a fraud. Absolutely disgusting from a company that is supposed to help with mental health, this caused me a lot of stress. I would never use an app built by a company that is clearly only there to generate profit in every way they can, even if it’s illegal.
I'm unhappy as the company have taken a payment of $69.99 despite the fact that I cancelled my subscription. I've contacted them about refunding this, but not heard back sadly. I didn't get any notification that a payment was due etc, so do be careful of this company.

Trial membership of one week cancelled within 4 days of my trial period and they still charged me for a full membership. Should’ve come to Trust Pilot to read the reviews beforehand but expected the trial period to be safe. If I liked it I would keep it if I didn’t I would cancel. I even got the “sorry to see you go” email so there was not confusion that I cancelled. I even went into the app the day after and could see that I was restricted from accessing all content.

Update (4 stars)
Aura came through and refunded my subscription. I’d still like them to send reminders before taking the payment, especially as they are one of the more expensive subscriptions.
Original review (2 stars)
No warning of renewing subscription.
I deleted my account as soon as I realised, so the same thing wouldn’t happen next year, but It stopped my access immediately, even though I’d just paid for another year!
I’ve sent an email, I’ll update this review once I hear back from them.
The times I signed up for specific sessions, they never actually happened.

Very useful app. Despite other negative reviews, I have found their customers service to be efficient, timeously and courteous. The app is very comprehensive and has many options for a range of functions. I use it daily for sleep meditation and relaxing music and soundscapes. Recommended.

The worst customer service ever 😒

Beware! There is no FREE trial. They charged me $70. after one week. I'm scared because I just read how hard it is to cancel. They don't answer the "customer service" phone number, instead directing you to leave your email. They already have it! When I typed "cancel account" their chat said "I don't understand you"!!!
Took 3 annual payments although I had cancelled from the iPhone App Store all my subscription methods and illegally stored my card details without asking for future
Disgusting take your health care funds and don’t care
Please DO NOT try the Aura meditation app as a free trial. They will never refund your money and will continue to charge your card even after you cancel the subscription. They do not list a phone number, but I was able to find it...650-273-7019. When you call a voice recording directs you to leave a message with your email information. No one gets back to you by phone, and when you send them an email you'll receive an automated response directing you to cancel on their website. You will never have contact with a person and you'll never get your money back.
I will report this shady business to all pertinent authorities for investigation and initiate legal action against them. I'll also expose them on every social media platform. I suggest you do the same!
I thought I had cancelled after the trial period, so as not to be billed a large annual fee, but instead it refunded the "family plan" and charge the basic annual fee which was still very expensive. So frustrated I came to trustpilot yesterday to write a nasty review. Today I return, because, despite the reviews here saying customer service is poor, my email to them got a response, and more importantly the refund I was looking for, the same day.
Like others on here, I also asked for a 7 day trial and tried to cancel it after discovering the payment went through automatically on my card. They refused so I accepted this but asked them to ensure any subscription was cancelled. They confirmed future charges and subscriptions were cancelled. 1 year later I've just had another subscription put on my credit card. Again, they are refusing to accept that I firstly never subscribed and secondly asked for my unwanted subscription to be cancelled but are now saying they will refund it via a Paypal account! They charged my credit card, they can refund my credit card. This is a scam PLEASE BEWARE - you will be charged fees you hadn't subscribed to (they even tried to charge me for a family account!!) and then you'll be charged again the following year!
If they are a genuine business (which I doubt) they need to sharpen up their act MASSIVELY! Its not acceptable.
I wanted to try out their “free” trial, they asked for my info, so i put in my revolut card info, which i find safer to use for online purchases instead of my regular card. I fortunately didn’t have a lot of money on there, so when they tried to charge me 70$, revolut froze my card and the payment didn’t go through. I have never heard of the practice of paying money for a free trial and then getting a refund. Sounds like a scam to me…
Site says “you will not be charged until after your free trial” and then they immediately tried to charge my card $69. I emailed them about how wrong this is, and was told “you will be refunded after being charged but it will depend on your bank how long the refund takes”. A charge then REFUND is not the same as NOT charging you until after a free trial. This company is shady AF.
