In September 2026 I paid USD 399 via…

In September 2026 I paid USD 399 via PayPal (transaction 17R8219959526974R), described as “Online Programs Visa Assessment Fees”, to Global Migration / australiaeligibilityassessment.online. I was then contacted by Australia Foreign Immigration Services (australiafis.org).
What I received was not an Australian visa lodgement and no MARA agent number was provided. It was an “assessment” saying I could register for an extra package of about USD 2,980. Their questionnaire lists USD 499, not the USD 399 charged.
I asked for a refund and was sent internal forms and a private “User Agreement”. Jela Jones kept emailing a subsidized-fee link and a case-suspension warning while PayPal claim PP-R-HMB-645768878 was already open.
PayPal closed that claim on 4 October 2026 in the seller’s favour. I would not use this service. It is not the Department of Home Affairs.
