Please don’t deceptively call your business Australian kids when you are Hong Kong based.
Unethical behaviour

After a week of placing my order with this company I still hadn’t received any shipping advice. I sent a text message to the mobile phone listed asking when my item would be shipped. There was no reply. I rang it and it’s disconnected. I sent an email asking when my goods would be shipped. I’m in Australia. The business is called “Australian Kids” but is based in Hong Kong and shipped from China.
I first received a generic reply and on my second attempt received an email reply in German. I had to use google translate to see what their reply was. It was a vague answer which translated said …
“Thank you for your message.
We can confirm that we have received your order and it will be shipped shortly. The tracking information may not have been updated yet, but please be assured that we are processing your order and will ensure it is shipped in time to meet your desired delivery date.
If you have any further questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your patience.”
EDIT: I have been persistent in following up on my order and eventually had several replies back to my emails, each saying thank you for your patience. After tracking showed my order arrived at its destination city Perth WA, but with no further information, I again emailed and was asked several times over a 5 day period to have patience etc etc.
Finally after more than 2 weeks I got a reply stating that the company delivering my order would be SpeedX and it would arrive in the next 2 days. It didn’t. After my order reached Perth WA the tracking stopped and could not be found on SpeedX tracking. It took from the Thursday it arrived in Perth till the following Wednesday but my order was eventually delivered.
The options for customer service for this company are poor and tracking is unreliable and non existent once it reaches the city of destination. I feel had I not been assertive in continuing to follow up I may not have received my order, as has been the experience of other buyers. It shouldn’t be that difficult to be informed of your order’s arrival.
It’s also false advertising from this business to call themselves “Australian Kids” and I will not be ordering from them again. In saying that, the product looks to be as advertised.

SCAM. I ordered a game and it never came even though the tracking stated delivered. The number provided was “not in service” buyer beware !

I ordered the Peek-A-Boo-Teddy-Interactive Plush Toy. The item I received is far from the product that was advertised on their platform, both in terms of quality, aesthetics, and size.
The advertised picture showed a bear sitting opposite a baby, with both subjects at eye-level, which suggested the bear would be approximately 50 cm in height. The bear in the advertisement also appeared very fluffy and aesthetically appealing.
Unfortunately, the bear I received is much smaller than anticipated and its quality is poor—it looks disheveled and worn.
I reached out to the company for assistance and have not heard from them

The quality is terrible. I doubt the product meet Australia safety standards for kids.
The box came damaged and they refused refund. They offered a discount that was ridiculous.
The advertise as Australia products but they come from China and the return address was in China.

Such a deceiving and disappointing experience! I ordered from this business as they claimed to be Australian (as the name suggests) & looked to be a very sweet, boutique-style company. Within a few days of placing my order, I get a dispatch email from China!! The package literally came direct from a Chinese warehouse, to me! I contacted them via email straight away and expressed my concern and disappointment- but no response! After a couple of weeks, no package had arrived and no updates (or reply from the company). I assumed it must’ve been a scam and was left feeling really uneasy. The product eventually arrived and the quality was very poor! I may as well have ordered from temu at a fraction of the cost!

Item completely different to advertised images. Purchased the jewellery making set which states over 500 peices and appears to come in a plastic storage box. It arrived in a zip lock plastic bag, was lucky to have 80 peices in it and only a couple of braclets which would limit thr kids from making anything. Their return policy is also completely unreasonable.

After reading the reviews I'm now worried about my purchase I'm worried I've been scammed esp after sending an email asking for my purchase to be cancelled and no reply
Edited: I originally only have this site 1 star due to reviews I'd read and because the parcel I ordered hadn't been delivered it has since been delivered to my granddaughter for my greatgrandson from the picture I sent it looks good only downfall is the delivery time and they are not an Australian company

Purchased "Jewellery Play Stones for Kids" for my daughter for Christmas. For $30 I was expecting them to be presented in a neat plastic tub, with some pictures as instructions. Instead they come in a plastic resealable bag - with small images but no details in English. There are no headbands despite being in the images and not all the letters are there.
Basically cheap plastic stuff.
Found these reviews after I purchased. The company is NOT a small business from Melbourne - the address is Hong Kong. I've asked for a refund but I'm not expecting anything based on others experiences.
Don't order from them.

I was initially interested in purchasing from this company, especially because it appeared to be an Australian-based business. However, after looking more closely, I discovered that the company is actually based in Hong Kong. This was disappointing, as the branding and presentation strongly suggested a local Australian operation, which influenced my trust and expectations.
I also checked the reviews on Trustpilot and found a number of negative experiences shared by other customers. Reading those reviews ultimately persuaded me not to go ahead with my purchase. Transparency about the business location and clearer communication would have made a big difference.
At this stage, based on what I’ve found, I’ve decided not to buy from this company.

Got a spinning toy as a gift- Cheap, comes from a package from China - no instructions or tags attached.
HAZARDS - small parts that baby can SWALLOW.
Probably buy for 50 cents and sell for $20!!! Disgusting and not an ‘Australian’ company like claimed. I will be going to the ACCC to get this company removed!!!! Ripping off Australian families.

It's 2 weeks and still have not recieved my order. Now when looking into to it I feel it's false advertising. You call it Australian kids so I stupidly assumed it was Australian. But the address is Hong Kong. How is that Australian?
Not happy with the false advertising. Hope when my items finally arrive they are what I was expecting.

Phone has been disconnected, tried to contact as no order received email from them therefore no tracking number . Money has been taken from account a week ago but no communication from this company. Avoid at all costs!!!

I have the same type of complaint ts as most of the other one-star reviews here, but in particular, the advertising is beyond deceptive and should probably be actionable under Australian consumer law. The item I purchased is probably one-third the size shown in what is most likely AI manipulated imagery on the company’s website. The toy looks more like a trinket!
I also suspect that most, if not all, the glowing reviews in the company’s website are AI generated given the perfect spelling, grammar, etc in all of them, as well as the total absence of any negative comments by reviewers there. More false advertising. I imagine the replies from the company to reviews on Trustpilot are a further AI ruse. Dreadful company and product!

Nothing was received, no reply. Police should investigate this site.

Agree with every other review. This company appears Australian but items shipped direct from China. I purchased the Marble Watercolour Play and paid $35 with shipping, looked like something you’d pay $5 for at Cheap as Chips. Not only that I purchased two items and no doubt when the other one arrives, it’ll also be rubbish.

Bought 3 pack of spinning toys for grandson, nearly 12 months old, toys feel and look cheap and could well be dangerous as swallowing hazard, would rather have donated $25 to charity as I am going to put them in the bin. Would like a refund but I wouldn’t hold my breath

This site tries to pass off inferior products by using misleading advertising. Furthermore, it is not an Australian site but is based in Hong Kong, it sources its products in China (probably via Temu) and then ship them to you in Australia using 'micro express', a courier with a Trustpilot review rating even lower than this company.
My specific experience was that I ordered a children's book the advertising for which showed a child next to a hardcover book with the same title that I ordered playing with cardboard shapes which would have also been part of the purchase. What I got was a set off loose-leaf pages and some pieces of string.
When queried, the response was that there was no issues and that this is a "new cross-border product" that presumably replaced the old. The old product is still being advertised. Further investigation showed that the "new cross-border product" was actually available on Temu for $4.39 while I paid $29.99 for the package I ordered the advertising for which implied I was getting a hardcover book as well.
Oh, and if you bother to read through the glowing reviews on their website you will probably conclude, as I did, that they are all fake. They are all 1-2 sentences long and repeat the same things using slightly different phrases.

Complete rubbish!! Ordered the balance game, took weeks to come & then found it was coming from China. It turned up today & is now in the bin as wouldn’t fit together properly. I’ve learned a lesson, really need to do more research.
