Easy, clear and convenient. Great prices
Very easy to use the search and reservation system. No hidden fees, cancellation policy clearly stated. Used it for the firtst time, waiting to see how the rental service will go and if all goes well, will definitely use Auto Europe again.

Fraud
Terrible service...I strongly recommend the public to avoid this company. We booked a car to rent at the airport in Lisbon on 3rd January 2022. Our flight was delayed by fog at Lisbon. Further delays were caused by the control of passengers' Covid vaccine status at the airport exit. We arrived two hours to pick up our car as arranged, only be informed by rude staff that because of the delay our reservation was no longer valid; and that we we could take a larger car at the tariff of 400€ instead of 40€. We refused this scam and were fortunate enough to find a less expensive rental car with another firm. However, late in the evening, the stress was considerable. Subsequent attempts to be reimbursed have been met with refusal. Whatever might be written in the small print, potential customers should realize that the Auto Europe are operating a fraudulent company: anybody wishing to hire a car in good faith should avoid them.

AUTOEUROPE SIXT never paid me back after cancelation
I booked in april 2020 with internet with Autoeurope a car to be delivered at SIXT gare de lyon / PARIS. I had to pay for the rental 200€: which was done
I was then called by Sixt to confirm the booking. I took this opportunity to cancel my reservation, SIXT advice me also to cancel with Autoeurope, which was done by email.
Unfortunatelly, I was never reimbursed, while the car was cancelled several days in advanced. I sent many emails to autoeurope: mucopcalls at autoeurope.de but never received any answer, any excuse, and clearly no money back.
I strongly discourage to rent a car with AUTOEUROPE, which act without any consideration on me as customer and which never paid me back 200€ . Never again !!
