I have never known such a long winded…
I have never known such a long winded system to update a travel insurance policy. Firstly I took the policy out in mine and my wife's name online without having to get her permission. To update the policy with a recent illness my wife has had I have to get her permission. It would help that your employees could understand English and did not dictate that you must only give a yes or no answer. It would also help if the illness could be added without going through all of the questions which had been asked and answered online. It took over 30 minutes to update a policy which should have only taken 5. Ther is one thing for sure I will never use this company again.

Our underwriter provides us with specific questions we must ask in order to complete the declaration. As you can appreciate, our agents need to ensure that we capture all relevant information for your own protection in the unforeseen event that you need to submit a claim.
We are also regulated by the financial conduct authority and have to cover everything they require us to, in order to be compliant with the regulations.
I am sorry for the frustration caused.

I needed help with renewing my world wide holiday insurance
My son helped me, Advantigo seemed to have all the features I needed, we looked at others but kept going back to Advantigo, the thing that persuaded me was the the fact that the policy took care of everything and a very appealing price.
So "roll on" my holiday, with peace of mind

Now having doubts...
Recently took out annual policy which was competitively priced for good cover.
Policy started today and was unable to log in to confirm policy was active, the Log In
and Register screens listed on Google accepted information but went no further.
After a number of attempts I rang and was told that there is no facility to register or log in and to refer to the PDF docs available on the website.
The website should be updated to make clear that there is no Customer Log In available, which to me seems strange for an online provider.
As has been said many times with Insurance you only know how good they are once you claim…hopefully never needed but this experience makes me wary.

The website was easy to navigate. Questions about health were unambiguous so I could respond with confidence.
As with all insurance, the proof of the pudding will be if I have to make a claim.
So far, I am very satisfied being a fairly fit octogenarian.
