Bought Samsung Galaxy S22. The phone was a great price, arrived quickly and was like new.

Have given it a few months and performance is better than expected with battery life being my main concern. However, I have not been disappointed and can go full day on fairly normal use without need to find a charger.

Will definitely use again when it comes time for my next upgrade.

I first bought a phone from Backmarket approx 2 years ago. I bought one in "fair" condition and was very pleased with it. So I wanted to upgrade it for my wife. I ordered another mobile, S21 Fe 5g in "fair" condition so I expected to find some scratches and signs of use, my wife is not a big user of technology and this one fit her needs. However, I was sent this disgusting looking mobile phone that was so badly damaged that it looked like it had been dragged down the middle lane of the M1 it was only fit for the bin. I cant believe that Backmarket thought that this was good to enough to sell. There was no way I could give this as a gift to my wife. I have never been so disappointed. I immediately contacted Backmarket and returned this thing and I have now received a full refund. I have lost all confidence in Backmarket and will not be purchasing anything else from them.
I have included some photos with their review but they have now said they were deleted saying that they are not of the actual phone, which they are. I no longer trust this company.

I needed a simple laptop to take away from base for basic email and WP work. Nothing exotic. Searched Back Market and found an HP Elitebook about 7 yrs old. Caution - check that it's a UK keyboard (if that's what you need, like me). It exactly fits my requirement at a sensible price.
One star off as comms from Back Market are a bit OTT but will be unsubscribing soon.

When the laptop deliver the W key was broken like it was taken out and bettery life is good and storage is good

I purchased a Google Pixel 7a from Back Market as a Christmas present - just five months later the battery is so swollen it has broken out of the phone. This product is a fire risk and not at all suitable for use. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase and would not recommend this company. I have emailed customer support and am waiting for a resolution to this issue.

This is a fantastic company that keeps in touch, despatches promptly and delivers what it promises.

My husband bought me a Premium grade Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra at a decent price for my birthday and I essentially got a brand new phone - 100% pristine. I am chuffed to bits to say the least and would absolutely recommend this company, their service and their products.

Avoid at all costs.

This is now the second faulty Sage coffee machine I have received through Back Market within six months. I appreciate that refurbished items can occasionally develop faults, but what has been most disappointing is the way the return has been handled.

After returning the faulty machine, my refund was not processed promptly and I had to repeatedly chase for updates. I was then informed that 5% would be deducted from my refund because the item was allegedly returned in a different condition. No explanation was provided, no details of the alleged issue were given, and no evidence was shared before the deduction was applied.

The machine was returned because it was faulty, and I even took photographs before shipping it back. As things stand, I am still trying to establish what exactly justifies the deduction.

Customer service responses have been slow, vague and unhelpful throughout. After two faulty machines and a difficult refund process, I have completely lost confidence in both Back Market and its sellers.

I will not be using Back Market again and would strongly recommend others think carefully before purchasing expensive refurbished electronics through this platform.

Update: upon reviewing the refund amount, backmarket have withheld 8.71% of the order value, not 5%.
