I already have two pairs of Barkers…

I already have two pairs of Barkers with leather soles which I wear regularly. I needed a pair with the Dianite sole to wear in winter and the Kelmarsh is ideal. Fits perfectly and was delivered very quickly.

I got a call from the despatch dept…

I got a call from the despatch dept checking my address and a very pleasant chat about the size I’d selected. The guy was a joy to talk to, & a I received my order which was what I’d hoped for a day or 2 later.

The boots arrived all as planned

The boots arrived all as planned, however the leather smell was awful, they are produced in India and for some reason they emit an awful " manure " smell and even after letting them be exposed to fresh air outside and in they still smell as a result I have only worn them once. None of my other Barker shoes have suffered from this so when I return home I shall contact customer services for their comment.

I have been a customer of Barker now for many years

I have been a customer of Barker now for several years and recently purchased via their online store. The experience is flawless with fast dispatch and delivery. I wear barker daily business casual and can only applaud the Barker people for producing a quality product! Always looks and feels great! Kelmarsh - well made - worth trying on as come up a tad larger

Ordered a pair of Kelmarsh online with Black Friday deal- good true discount. Arrived a little unexpectedly (delivery company didn't sort messaging correctly) fortunately no one took from door step. Size 11 were slightly too big, G fitting. Called jermyn st shop they had a pair of 10.5 in stock. They put them aside - I changed no fuss - all good. Now to wear in. Expect them to last me out. Not as much cherry colour as wanted but they work.

Never delivered

The shoes were never delivered and I can’t get hold of any human at Barker yo discuss. Emails are not answers and the chat bot does nothing. There is no customer service number to call. The DPD link says the shoes were delivered in March 2025 - 9 months before they were ordered! Utter shambles! Barker, if you read this please get in touch asap and sort it out! Thanks

In two years I’ve had 2 orders cancelled by Barker, and one non delivery!

Two emails to customer services and no reply - then this request for feedback on my recent purchase drops into my email….. No problems!

Tracking details link doesn’t work, two emails to customer services I replied to, 24 hour response deadline imposed in my email of this morning or I’ll simply recover the costs of my purchase two weeks after paying through my payment provider.

Order made 11 days ago. Wrong dispatch information sent to email and DPD does not have my order.
Have tried to chase this up through different channels and sent a chase up email 5 days ago today.

Embossing patterns, colours & sizes

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my order, #ROW-3084, Caldler , cherry grain UK6 .I have three main issues:

1. Embossing Pattern: The embossing pattern on the left shoe tip is not centered, unlike the right shoe.
2. Color Discrepancy: The color is not what I expected from the pictures. I ordered "Calder - Cherry Grain" but the shoes look more brown and lack the cherry effect.
3. Sizing: I usually wear EU 40, but this pair is slightly tight. Can I expect the shoes to become more flexible after a period of wear, or "seasoning"?
4. I had written emails to barker team , no reply., after 5 days they had replied email.

Embossing Pattern: Slight variations can occur due to the handcrafted nature of our shoes, but we are happy to review your pair and advise if any adjustment is needed.

Color: Leather is a natural material, so its colour may differ slightly from online images due to lighting and screens. Each pair is unique, and subtle differences are normal.

Sizing/Flexibility: Leather shoes do soften with wear, and your pair should become more comfortable over time.

Goods never arrived

Goods never arrived. Tracking information provided was from an oil fragrance company for an order in another city 6 months prior to my order being made. Despite contacting them (only take emails - even chat goes to an email) and raising my concerns no one has contacted me or resolved this.Applied to the bank to refund money.
