Scammers

Customer service ignores my emails.
I got totally ripped off and I can't do anything about it!

Great customer service.

I have read the reviews and I can only report on my experience. I ordered a replacement water tank from my coffee maker I sent the details and a photo of the part, within a few minutes I received a reply saying that they had received my order and were getting it ready for delivery, the next day I received an email saying that they had dispatched the part. All I can say is that the service was excellent ,and would have on problem using this company again.

Great customer service

I ordered a replacement extension tube for my Miele vacuum cleaner in June at a very reasonable price which arrived promptly. Unfortunately this broke after a little over 2 months. I contacted Bartyspares by email and received an immediate response promising a replacement. This arrived the next working day. I can't praise the customer service too much, pity I can't say the same about the part.

Ordered dryer heating element and received a hose for something completely different, no way of contacting them except email which could take forever to get a response. It's a big no from me going forward🤬🤬🤬

Wish i read the review before buying.

Wish i read the review before buying. Piece orderred claimed to be direct replacement for the item required that sent was not even a close fit. No apology just return it. Refund processed quickly but they did not refund my postage thus it cost me for them sending the wrong item!

Great Service

Ordered a cooker light cover I couldn't get elsewhere. Ordered from Ireland and within 7 days received part. Brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Just always put the effort in to order the correct piece as they can only work off your measurements. Recommended

After being unsuccessful with 2 other …

After being unsuccessful with 2 other companies to help me with the right microwave turnplate, I was recommended by John Lewis staff to contact Bartyspares. This was the only company that solved my issue. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, specially Tom. They promptly replied to my query and solved it very soon. I recommend this company 100%.

Once order is placed they're not willing to help.

I ordered the item using Google Pay and realized immediately after payment that my old address was still set up. I promptly sent an email to them to correct the error and requested delivery to my current address. However, they did not respond at all, and the item was sent to the wrong address. When I contacted them again, they claimed that it was my fault. This experience has been very disappointing, and I will not be using their services again.

Bartys, more like Fartys.

My VAX hoover needed a service, so I ordered a deal that was running, 2 belts and a filter. The model number that I gave, showed me the options of the items that were ideal for my model. So I ordered. A few days later I received the package. 2 belts, these were fine, but the filter was completely wrong. Wrong fit, wrong size, wrong type! So instead of having the hassle of 'trying' to return the filter - as I knew it would be a drawn out affair, I took my Dremel and re-made the wrong filter into one that fitted. I did send an email to Bartys regarding the issue of the wrong item, but received no reply. Needless to say, next time I will use a proper company, mainly e-spares, as I know that their customer service is better and they are very helpful. Im just annoyed that at the time, Bartys was the only option for me as other stores didn't have what I needed. Bartys...more like Fartys.

Ordered 10x leisure cook master…

Ordered 10x leisure cook master ck100g232c replacement knobs.....seen a couple of not so good reviews...order was £100 for the 10....far cheaper than a lot of other websites.... original parts..... arrived 3 days later all packaged well.... Couldn't be more pleased with the service and product.... Spot on!!!!

Poor website information & service

I ordered a filter for my cooker hood and based the one I ordered on the information on bartyspares website. I ordered the one that they suggested for the model number. I paid extra to get it delivered within 2 days. The one I ordered did not fit. They are not interested in offering to send the correct one free of charge. Actually they are ignoring the fact that it was incorrect information on their website that caused the error. Be wary of their information on suitability. Do your own research and don’t expect good customer service. I’m returning the item but will be out of pocket for delivery and return charges. Annoying. I’ve ordered from somewhere else and won’t be using them again.

oven heating element

I have been searching for a heating element for a cook and Lewis oven everywhere and could not find anywhere.its only 18months old from b&q and they couldn't even get one.i thought i would have to buy a whole new oven and hob.found one here at Bartyspares.PERFECT item,solved a lot of issues and a whole bunch of cash 💸 😀 thanks guys your now saved as my go to for spares .🙂

I ordered and then looked at…

I ordered and then looked at reviews(which was worrying!) I had a good experience and felt I should give my honest review due to all the bad reviews. Monday ordered part, same day had an email from Royal Mail with delivery details. Thursday part was delivered, good working order and fixed my problem. Everything was fine.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I ordered additional extension tubes for my vacmaster vacuum cleaner as advertised and described on their website....they don't fit the original vacmaster tubes as Bartyspares's tubes are too small.
I'm now trying to do a return to get a refund but their return/refund link doesn't go to any webpage... just get a 404 error which means the page is non existent, and there's no contact phone number on their website!
I've had to use the original order confirmation email they sent to me to message them with the refund request.
They have no issue in taking your money but make it as difficult as possible to return for a refund!
THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A COMPANY AND IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Let's see what reply and customer service I get now from Bartyspates after my extremely negative but completely justified review.

***23/9/2023 - I'm now adding this update to my review. They contacted I. reply to the email I sent and have now confirmed my refund after they received the tubes I returned.
I do think they're making a rod for their own backs by having no contact phone number and a non working return link on their email and website but at least they finally responded to my email and are refunding me***

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY - they can't be trusted.

I ordered a replacement water tank reservoir for a coffee machine. It doesn't fit - its a copy which isn't a genuine replacement! When you try to return it you have to send an email to them first to request the return / refund.
The email address on the Refund Policy doesn't work; on closer examination the address 'format' isn't valid. Note that I have assumed the correct format - for reference the 'extension' probably should be '.co.uk' , and re-sent, and so far it hasn't bounced back. I will wait and see if I get a response. Poor company trying to look 'customer focused', but hiding behind fake email addresses.
