SCAM! Paid £2 for an online questionnaire, charged another £25 two weeks later
Paid £2 for an online questionnaire. 2 weeks later got a surprising £24.99 charge for a full months subscription. We won't refund the charge despite trying y to contact them through your contact email as well as trying to claim the charge back through my funding carrier. Absolutely SCAM! They have hidden their fees in very small print of the terms and conditions of selecting the questionnaire.
Basenji apps scam company
Terrible practices, makes it impossible to cancel and tricks you into a 29.99 charge.
Feels like a scam. Which is disgusting for a wellbeing app.
I signed up for the test and was given no option to skip the additional 9.99 charge. I pressed back in the browser but was charged anyway. I have reached out to the customer service and they have not resolved this. Do not use this, it is marketed as a wellbeing app but they have zero care for customer service

They're scammers.

I was signed up to the service without my consent to an email that I have no access to that doesn’t belong to me yet. When I tried to explain this to them they just said it was out of their policy to refund customers even if they haven’t used a service Absolutely disgusting company. I don’t even know what they do to be honest because I haven’t used the service, but apparently they are about well-being but really they cause their customers more stress and pain than anything else.
Why are you scamming thats…
Why are you scamming thats disrespectful with mental health too your as bad as the rest of them criminals, didnt get no money from me apart from a £1 you useless rat, literally stole my paypal details but I was too quick for you, Rot in hell!!!
Not worth trying
Just a few buzzfeed type quizzes that I wanted to try. Trying to stop payment now.
SCAM
I signed up for what was advertised as a 7-day free trial with a $1 special price. I believed this meant I would only be charged $1 for the trial period.
Instead, I was billed multiple times on the same day. When I contacted support, they only mentioned the $1 charge and completely ignored the other payments. They refused to refund me and hid behind their subscription terms.
This is misleading and feels like a scam. Be very careful if you consider signing up with them.
Charged Multiple Times Without Consent – Total Scam!
🚫 This is a complete scam. They charged my card three times in a single month without my consent. There’s no customer support, no refund process, and no way to dispute the transaction. Total fraud. Avoid this service at all costs.

Absolute SCAM! If you've used PayPal, make sure you have cancelled their auto charges so you won't lose anymore valuable money to these crooks.
PREDATORS AFTER THE MENTALLY ILL
I consented to $1 purchase and these predators predating on the mentally ill stole over 10 times the amount. They need a visit from the police
Scam
Scam, I authorized $1 for quiz results, never recieved results.
Found a surprise visa hold two weeks later for a monthly subscription I never asked for, and they won't refund, total refusal, in the meantime they grabbed the money.
Guess they hoped I wouldn't notice.
Have deauthorized them in paypal from my vendors list (great feature I wish I'd known about earlier (and have filed a report).
Could end up an expensive lesson for me, wish I'd checked here first but I honestly thought that my active participation was required for payments to go out of PayPal, it's been a shock Basenji could set up a raid of monthly deductions without my approval.
Still haven't recieved those quiz results either.

Already wrote a review that there is no way to cancel the payments, got my money for the last two month back but now they are just continuing to charge 29.99€ over my paypal.
I want my money back and the payments canceled on and for all.
No way to contact them over email or their website.
I followed the link via Instagram, absolute scam
I followed the link via Instagram, going through the whole process. Asked for email to "get results" only to ask for money right after. I paid 1 dollar just to test if the results were worth it.
Not only did I never get the results of the test (I did get the email confirmation of the charge though, didn't miss that part did they?) only a month later I kept getting an attempt at a 30 dollar charge from some place called Breeze., it failed because my paypal is linked to a charge I only put money in when I know I will be charged.
After some internet research, turns out to be whatever Basenapps is trying to charge me. PayPal was of no help whatsoever, I had to google how to stop this subscription on paypal to end it. Why did paypal confirm a subscription? who knows. I don't even have an account with this place. emailed them and will be reporting them as a scam. Do not go to this site or use it. It's just a scam to steal money from your account. Reminds me of that "healthy vegan ramen" that's on Instagram same tactic.
TOTAL SCAM!
The test results themselves were…
The test results themselves were laughably inaccurate, so that's the first red flag that this company/app is untrustworthy. As others have said, they are staunchly stubborn regarding refunds. Claiming not to have record of my request to cancel immediately yet unable to provide confirmation I agreed in the first place. Statistically, these kinds of apps can get up to 70% or more of their revenue from people forgetting to cancel - that's a LOT! So denying requests for refunds is simply what they do, it's like stocking shelves - just a daily job task baked into their business plan from the start. Companies study marketing and this is a psychological strategy on an app designed to offer psychological help for trauma. Think about that.
Disgusting company
Disgusting company, using mental health to scam people. Won't refund all money that they stole.
